  • Worst app and customer service ever

    I got this app and it was horrible. It didn’t do anything I needed and I was very disappointed. I contacted customer service right away and said I need a refund. I have not even used the app and I need my money refunded. They asked for my receipt. I sent it to them. They asked for 5 other kinds of proof of purchase. Finally I said I have given you enough proof I purchased it I want a refund. Now it has been over 2 months. Still no refund. First it was up to 21 business days to get a refund. Then it was 7-10 business days. Then it was I am sorry we are getting it to the billing department now. And then then was I apologize please be patient we sent it to the billing department now. Patient??? It’s been over 2 months!!! I feel I have been pretty patient. DONT ORDER THIS APP. YOU WILL REGRET IT. Not only is the app worthless so is the customer service. And still no refund. They are worthless. They are scammers. Do not purchase this app. I was going to share pics of the emails from March 10th staying that they have billing processing it now and blah blah blah. This can not be legal to rip everyone off like this

  • Horrible experience

    This company does not care for customer satisfaction at all. This is the first review I have ever written about an app, but I wanted to warn others. I found the app confusing and hard to navigate. I reached out for help and did not get a reply until I wanted to discontinue services and asked for a refund since I only had it for two days. They refused a refund, but stated I could continue to use their services for the full year. Seriously?!?!?! My child didn’t even use his phone yet- it is a present for his birthday and I was getting everything set up before he received it, but this app is not user friendly. I am not going to use it, did not use it on my child’s phone and only purchased the year subscription two days prior to figuring this all out and they won’t give me any type of refund??? I already found a much superior app that I figured out right away and will be using them.

  • What a joke!

    UPDATE: DO NOT SUBSCRIBE, YOU CANNOT CANCEL!! THEY ASK THAT YOU EMAIL THEM TO CANCEL AND YOU GET A RESPONSE BACK INDICATING THEY HAVE IT CANCELLED BUT THEY NEVER ACTUALLY CANCEL THE AUTOMATIC RENEWAL ON YOUR ACCOUNT!! I keep getting emails letting me know that “my trial ends soon and I will be automatically charged”, even after I emailed several times to cancel my account. I respond to the emails asking if my account is STILL active and in a trial and they respond and say yes it is in a trial and you will be charged when your trial ends on . Yep, that’s the response, they never actually include a date. It is impossible to cancel.

    This never worked properly. Support chat is a waste of time, they give links to read help information topics I have already read. I paid for a one year subscription, and am trying to cancel it so I don’t get charged again. You cannot cancel in your online account. You have to contact chat support who spends 15 minutes telling you that they are reviewing your account to see what they can do and then they just give you an email address and tell you to submit an email request to billing to the cancel auto renewal on the account. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE!!

  • Don’t Purchase

    I purchased the app after the initial trial worked fairly well. I was able to block apps during homework and bedtimes, although I could not keep certain apps open as I was told. You are either able to block everything or nothing. Apple came thru with an update and this app stopped working. I contacted them and was told they were working on it and should have it back up within two weeks. I was told this story for the next two months.

    I finally said forget it, refund my money. It took over 2 month for my refund to be ‘approved’ and on to the next step of repayment. That was at the beginning of January. Every time I reach out to them, I am told it is in the final stages and will be refunded in 2-3 days.

    Don’t waste your time or money. You won’t get the service you expect.

    *Update: I see their standard response is to have you contact them via live chat. However, the people manning live chat tell you to email billing. They can only offer technical assistance. Continued run around from this P.O.S. app developer.

  • Horrible customer service

    I asked for a refund back in December of 2019. I received an email claiming that the refund process can take 15-21 days. It is now February 5th, 2020 and I still have no refund. I have contacted them several times and I still get the same response that they are working on it but nothing ever materializes into my account. They had no probable pulling money out of my account a full year after I signed up for and paid for a crappy app that didn’t deliver half of what the description claims but yet it has taken them well over two months to give me a refund. I am filing a complaint with the BBB. They have also asked me to give the billing and refund department one more chance and to “cooperate” with them. I would give them negative -5 stars if I could!! Whole app and company is a scam.

  • Happy so far

    I was shocked by the Low rating but decided to give it a try. It seems to work well and I ran into a problem this week, used the live chat function, and they told me how to fix the issue, and the fix worked.

    I added my wife to the account and then the alerts from my daughters phone would then only go to her phone. Mine stopped receiving the alerts. They were able to tell me how to fix it in a just a few minutes.

  • RUN!!! I didn’t head the warnings and am paying for it now

    **UPDATE 2** was promised a refund and over a week later... nothing!

    **UPDATE** I have “live chatted” already... long before I posted this review and they passed me on to someone else who couldn’t help me!! This has been well over a YEAR LONG battle and NO ONE in this company cares about the money you spend or the SAFETY of your CHILDREN!! BEWARE!!!

    Do yourselves a favor and DO NOT even download this app let alone PAY for it. It will work so so for a few weeks and the. It will LOCK DOWN your phone and your child’s phone. You will be forced to factory reset both devices and hope there are no lingering issues. We tried very hard to have this issue resolved but the developer honestly could care less about you once you make a purchase. It was at that time that I insisted my year be canceled and refunded an allocated amount which.... let’s be honest.... was never going to happen. What ever I ate the yearly amount but still insisted it be canceled. I have message after message after message and all the screen shots proving this and yet today they charged me for a whole other year!! They do not have anyone available to answer phones so you can talk to an actual person. Literally no one is capable of handling this issue because I keep getting bounced around to this person and that person. Please head this warning and DO NOT allow yourself or your children to get caught up in this mess! It’s not worth it!

    I recommend anyone that has been caught by this terrible company/service/app file a formal complaint against them online. Let’s get this scam service removed!!!!

    I purchased this app. I used it for a bit and then canceled. Because I had used it, I didn’t expect a refund AT THAT TIME.
    Then just recently.... a year later, I get a notice that my card had been charged for this service again even though I had canceled.
    I requested a refund and they told me it takes about 15 or so days to process. Sounds odd... but whatever. I wait... still no refund. I have contacted them and requested that the money be put back in my account four times. They keep telling me it’s in process. I feel like I have given them PLENTY of time, allowing for extra time even for the holidays.
    But still nothing. I told them if it wasn’t in my account by today, I would be starting further actions to get it back.
    But I wanted to first start here by warning everyone, DON’T GET IT!!!!!!

  • Avoid FamilyTime - Doesn’t have all features

    I researched a half dozen apps for the features I needed and eventually selected FamilyTime. I went to down the app, saw the bad reviews and dismissed them. My mistake. I bought it and loaded it up within 24 hours on my kids devices to learn some features don’t work like a “family pause” because we both have Apple iOS. What? Being able to turn off the phones when it was dinner or the teenager was being disrespectful was the primary need. No refund could be given as I signed up on the New Year discount so no trial period for me. Crappy policy. Keep unhappy customers around to write bad reviews vs just giving a simple refund. Must get a refund request so often they can’t afford to stand behind their product. DO NOT BUY.

  • Love it

    I’ve tried all the apps for screen time control, so far I like this one the best. Completely shuts it down except for calling and texting. The only problem, I’ve had the app for about a month and the servers been down twice which will not allow me to sync the phone. Takes a long time to get it to work again (still not working since noon yesterday). Once they figure out why they have to update their servers so often; and correct the issue, the app will be awesome. Also, customer service has always been prompt to answer my questions, and very polite!
