    Absolutely awful service! They WILL steal your money. Charged my card when I was supposed to be getting a free trial. The app never worked on one of our sons phones. We contacted customer support and were told to wait 24 hours. In that 24 hours is when they charged our card. I contacted customer support and was told they wouldn’t refund anything. Absolutely awful!

    I find it interesting that this company is so quick to write on here offering to help and saying sorry when in reality they won’t actually help and don’t actually care about anything except trying to look good and hoping to steal someone else’s money. Do NOT ever try this app it is a scam!!! Bark is a much better option.

  • DONT BUY!

    I still have yet to receive my cancellation confirmation. I emailed in 60min after purchasing the app, as the app is very confusing to download and the interface isn’t as great as other apps I’ve used.
    I started a chat with one girl and she informed me to send an email to another email address. Once I did that, I got the same response from the SAME girl and then the next day got another response from another one saying practically the same thing and that “I will be contacted”.
    Still nothing three days later, and my “free” trial will be up today with still no update. I’ll be contacting Apple directly before they try to scam me and charge my account the $45 for the yearly subscription. I’ve read so many reviews they took from so many others on here and never got reimbursed! Unethical and don’t waste your time on this like I did!

  • Morons. Don’t even understand their own product

    Couldn’t get app to work. Spent lots of time working with their idiot service department getting the run around. Still couldn’t get it to work. Asked for a refund. They told me that because I purchased during a promotion I’m not eligible for a refund. What??? So a product you can’t even understand and can’t get to work on my iPhones you won’t refund because I didn’t pay full price? And after rating your service people poorly they each begged me for a better rating. Ummm. No. You guys need to learn your product. It doesn’t do half of what you advertise it does. I want my money back!!!!! And will continue to fight until I get every penny back

  • Love It!!!!

    I’ve been very impressed with this app and customer service. I’m not at all tech savvy and their customer service tech team has been very responsive 24/7 to help me set up devices so I can keep my kids safe while on their devices. It works well with Apple iPhones and I like that I can control the shut down of apps on my kids devices from my phone. With it being the holidays pre-programmed shut off times don’t always work because we are not on a normal schedule so it’s great that I can quickly with a flip of a switch turn it off and allow kids access to their phones again if I want - but likewise can use this as a test time to gain trust that the app is working for what I need before everyone goes back to school. The only thing I wish is that we could shut down texting - but that’s an Apple restriction from limiting that function.

    Rick Foster, a customer representative worked with me to set all the guild lines I needed on my son’s phone. He was patient and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job with following up as well to insure both my understanding was solid and my child’s phone was set up just the way we desire it for insuring limited phone time for our 11 yr old. This way we all have expectations laid out, no more arguing and fussing about what time is spent when. Now he has control over the allotted time in the “bank” and can adjust his desires accordingly. Great app!

  • Ridiculous

    I signed up for family time and shortly after found that the app was not compatible with my sons phone (iPhone 5). At this point I contacted customer support to see if there was a work around and was told that there was not and that I’d be refunded. I canceled this service October 2, 2018. It is now December 5th and I have YET to receive a refund. I have emailed the company at least ten times and each time I was given the blanket statement “so sorry about your inconvenience, I have contacted our billing department and a refund will be issued in (blank) amount of time. This time frame started with 4-5 weeks (I assume so that people will forget). Then it changed to 5 business days, and went back and forth between that and 48 hours over the last two months. I can’t even comment on the app itself as I never got a chance to use it! I did download mobicip and like that app!

  • Beware!!!

    I had a similar experience as those listed in other reviews. I signed up for a “trial” period in which I had to give payment information to auto bill after the trial period was over. First, I had trouble accessing my sign in page after installing both my and my child’s app. Contacted them via instant chat and got that resolved. THEY OFFERED TO GIVE ME A DISCOUNT (on my “trial” period) FOR A 5 STAR RATING so beware of those reviews. I like to believe most of the app reviews are honest so I didn’t accept the offer. So glad I didn’t because when I tried to access the parent tab the app would force close. I did what they asked and still had no luck so I requested a refund for my 1 day “trial” offer. We shall see....

  • This app is as much a joke as this developer

    The vpn service that allows you to control your child’s device rarely connected and when it did, would slow down internet interactions to the point it was unusable. The app would never lock out the devices when daily screen limits were exceeded. Just a poor excuse for parental controls.

    I was billed even after cancelling the service prior to the expiration of my trial period. I immediately reached out to the developer and was given the runaround. Suffice it to say it has been a month and a half and I don’t expect to get my money back from this sham company so I wanted to make it known to others to ensure no one else falls for this poor excuse of an app an company

  • GREAT !! Fantastic! & Super Support 👍🏻

    I don’t understand the negative reviews here - it’s really powerful and easy to use. just contact Support like I did to ask Qs since they are super responsive! I’m using the free version & love it. Similar to MobileIron that I use on my work iphone, FamilyTime is a real Device Management tool that installs on your I phone! Tech Support is outstanding and showed me how to prevent my kids from deleting a-n-y apps from the phone with one quick password. I’m now considering the premium version!

  • Doesn’t work as stated

    Used the app during the trial period and it worked fine. After paying is when problems started. Had to uninstall and reinstall on both phones. That created 2 accounts so I had to go through the process again. It’s no as easy as you’d think which is why it’s annoying to do. Now when I turn the features off it won’t sync to my child’s phone and continues to lock even during unlocked times. It’s very frustrating when you need to get ahold of your child and the phone is locked. She’s had to restart it more times than necessary and it still only works half the time. I hate this app and don’t recommend it to anyone.
