  • Beware of this app! It’s a scam

    Its a scam, beware of this app! Their chat support had me put two 5 stars reviews from 2 parents account, before I purchased it so I'll get 50% off the price, I agreed knowing I'd be able to change it if needed and hoped the app will work great, the app would not install on my daughter iPad , it kept saying that the installation failed, I tried for few hours to get it to work with their tech support, nothing worked, at one point the app just kept crashing, couldn’t even open it, I asked for refund 2 hours after purchased since I cannot use it but they wont refund me saying I took the promotion price and it is non refundable, it was never mentioned when the promotion was offered to me. They also told me that I have to send email to billing since they dont process refunds through the chat. All the 5 starts reviews are from people that took the discount in exchange for a review. Scam!!

  • Run!! Hit the back button now!!!

    When looking for apps for phones to monitor the content our children were viewing this one seemed like a no brainer! What the app and everything fails to tell you is that it barely works on Apple phones and is a complete waste of money. I paid for a years service ahead of time and was sold on what I read on the internet. After 2 days I quickly learned it was a sham! Customer service is fast and courteous if you like the used car salesmen smiles and BS excuses. They quickly ended our service as requested, said they would refund us our money in 15-20 days. Here we are 8 month later with no money. A quick trip to the bank and fraud stuff, we got a reversal on the payment.

    This is a fraud and a scam, a useless app! Run away from this and find something better!!! There is no way any other ratings more than 1 star are real!!! Apple please shut them down!!

  • Decent product - horrible service

    Product does block apps and lock phone reasonably well. Customer service could not be worse if they told me to pound sand when I contact them. They do not even read the issue before sending the most overly simplistic suggestions possible. If you get past that, they will tell you that your problem is being forwarded to the engineers. You will never hear from them again. Just awful, terrible, worthless customer service. See their response below. I have been to their customer support chat 3 times. As stated above, they do not read the question. That is the same over simplified response that 50 other reviews got. They are corporate garbage.

  • Terrible first impression, don’t bother

    Don’t waste your time with this app if you are on iOS, the location map is completely and ridiculously inaccurate making the most important feature of the app completely unusable. I just dropped my daughter off at school which is mikes away across town yet Her current location shows as just a couple of blocks away which I know to be impossible. The check into location alert I set obviously didn’t work either because the app doesn’t know where her phone is. Total waste of time and much frustration getting this app set up in the first place and now even more frustrated that it dies t work as advertised.
    Also, originally the App Store said that text tracking was available. Found out after installing through chat support that it is a feature “coming soon” for iOS. NOT HAPPY! Don’t waste your time. Looking into Life360 as an alternative for location tracking.

  • A nightmare

    The app seemed to work for a few weeks. Then the child dashboard was nonresponsive, and I had the impression the screen time limit did not work properly, and could be bypassed by accessing apps such as music from lock screen. Enter over 12 mail exchanges with customer service, resulting in both parent and child apps blocked in a re-initialisation workflow, and customer service giving useless instructions. Example: me: ...the parent app is blocked at the dialogue where it asks me to add a child‘s device, and no way to exit the dialogue. The child‘s device is blocked at the screen where it asks me to enter the parent‘s pin of the old version in order to disinstall it. Could you please give me that pin? (By the way I had a password, no pin). Answer: please install the apps from this site:..,
    In the end there was a rogue child app blocking screen time at a different time zone. Had to get rid of it by factory reset. Never again!

  • Horrible - Absolutely Horrible!!!

    I downloaded the app and, right from the start we had problems. I had several online chat support sessions - what a nightmare! Their “support” personnel would ask the same questions over and over and offer the same solutions - even though they didn’t work. It was like they weren’t even reading what I had said. They promised me that their engineers would email me with a solution - never happened. Then they told me that I had the “old” version of the app. Mind you, I had downloaded it two days before and had followed their directions to download. I said enough was enough and told them to cancel my subscription. Now they’re playing games and won’t cancel or refund until I tell them what the problem is - which I have already done several times! They are both clueless and crooked!!!

  • SCAM!! Don’t fall for their claims

    I was looking for something that gave me a little more control over my kids phones. This app claims to do it all. I signed up for what was supposed to be a three day trial. I never received the email to access my account. I called and was instantly charged, without getting my trial period af all. The app is so incompatible and not user friendly at all.
    When I reached out through chat for a refund I was told I had to email. When I sent an email, I was told it will take 15-20 working days to get a refund. This is beyond unacceptable!! You did not hesitate to take MY money when you didn’t even give me my free trial. I see this is actually how you run your business by looking at the other reviews.
    This company is scamming people out of money!!! This needs to stop! Looking forward to seeing which generic pre fabricated comment I get from the company. They don’t actually read our reviews or even care to listen to complaints. I want my money back!

  • don’t waste your money, or they’ll only rob you of more

    This app doesn’t do have of what Apple’s native ‘Screen Time’ parental controls now do. There’s literally no reason for this app to exist.
    I tried this app last year, in early 2018, when trying to keep tabs and control on our son’s screen time. The controls were inconsistent at best, but more often than not failed to enforce the limits they claimed were possible. After less than 4 months of use (again, this was pre-Apple “Screen Time”), I removed the apps from our devices, which included several email exchanges with support to remove it from our son’s devices. There isn’t any way to argue that they were not aware of my dissatisfaction or my intentions to never use their service again.
    Cut to Thursday of this past week, Family Time billed me for another year of their worthless service. My attempts to fight the charge to my account via PayPal have failed, and Family Time refuses to issue a refund.
    Save your time, save your efforts, and most importantly, SAVE YOUR $!!! Don’t purchase this app.

  • Listen to the Majority of Reviews

    I decided to give this app the benefit of the doubt, and figured with a free 3 day trial I could see if we like it or not. On day 1 I was charged instantly for what I signed up for, by the end of day 2 I could tell that this was not working like it should. I could figure it out enough to navigate through but some things needed extra explanation, which means searching through the help section. Customer service was always kind and helpful. On the end of day 2 we decided to cancel, I started a chat in the app and was directed to email instead. By email I was first asked why I would like to cancel, and then after explaining, I was told that I was unable to receive a refund and that the 3 day trial did not apply to me because of how I signed up?!? I signed up the only way I could. I am still emailing them demanding my refund but save yourself the headache and do not even download the app or sign up.
    ****also I’ve went back to see they keep posting under bad reviews “please contact us for assistance” BUT when you do they keep giving excuses to why they won’t help. They lure you into a promotion because apparently a promotion takes away the right to have a refund. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY THING if you are unsure if it will work.

  • ZERO stars!! Do NOT purchase this product!

    I signed up for this service on a Sunday evening, spent 4 hours trying to get it installed and working on my kids iPhones. I chatted with a rude individual who was not helpful and said I just needed to delete everything I had just installed and start over. Well that didn’t work either! There is no phone number to speak with a live person so you just get to “chat” with them. If you pause for any moment or they don’t answer you quickly your chat ends and you have to start all over explaining your situation.
    I tried to cancel and get my refund and they told me they won’t refund me, even though it was less than 24 hours and the product didn’t work! So much for the free 3 day trial!!
    Do not buy this product! This is a very deceptive company and the product doesn’t work!
