Will be good - when it is sorted

This is the most frustrating app I have ever used. The research idea is interesting, but using the app is a major challenge. Mostly it doesn’t respond, and then it suddenly remembers what you tried to input 3 times, so you get credited with 3x extra, that you then have to delete. Or else it confirms that you ended the sleep session, and then it forgets and tells you you have been asleep for 17 hours. I spent so much time trying to correct it. I kept going to the end of 14 days for the feedback, but with all the errors it was meaningless. I hope there is a major revision because the research idea sounds really interesting.

Very Glitchy

An incredibly frustrating app, very slow and with lots of issues. I kept at it for 11 weeks but finally gave up (on the app, not on the fasting) as it is not valid research anyway as there are so many problems with the app.

App too slow and buggy to keep using

I was so excited to participate in the research, but after completing the two week baseline I discovered that much of my data was not recorded. Only five or so foods are able to be annotated with a single entry, so much of my data were lost because it took me a week to realize I had to do a new entry just to log an entire meal. Additionally, there were no instructions stating that you couldn’t log food, beverages and meds with a single entry. So if I went sequentially through the tabs, the only thing recorded was the medication; all the food and beverages I annotated were lost. The vast majority of photos I took are not in the history. I wanted so badly to participate in this because it sounded fun and I’m doing time restricted feeding because of Dr. Panda’s research findings. If the technical kinks get worked out, I would be happy to begin again, but right now the data collected for me will just demonstrate a glitchy app and not a picture of my dedication to fully participating.

Great premise but...

Would love to contribute to research but this app just keeps freezing on me and not working. I spent weeks setting up baselines but now I’m going to delete it.

App lets down great research

The app is very clumsy. You take a photo of your meal and add the ingredients but when you eat that meal again you have to redo it over. Often the data says it has saved but doesn’t show on the chart so you have to redo. This might be a list of 10+ ingredients. Since the last update, I have found the page to log food often doesn’t load so I cannot always add items I’ve eaten. Sone of the functions listed do not work. For the research only I will try to finish the time period requested, however the app itself is frustrating to use and doesn’t do anything that I couldn’t chart on a spreadsheet.

Raises Awareness

I had no trouble with the app and found it a supportive tool for positive change.

This app looks and behaves like a 3 yr old wrote it

I so want to like this app and contribute to the research but it is a total piece of garbage. Embarrassing really. Everything from the UI to CX to the performance to the behavior is completely pathetic. It has a counterintuitive layout and while you’re starting out in the confusing interface and need to view and modify your entries most it doesn’t actually allow you to do so. Blatant bugs in sleep entry recording the wrong day is mindboggling for an app that’s supposed to track you activity for research. It’s basically just prone to error and thus making the quality of the research poor as well. While I’ll try to continue to use it the app itself creates constant friction.

Please fix this app

It is unusable and there doesn’t appear to be any way of contacting Support other than by posting a review. I’m sure they’ll fix it, however I don’t see the point in downloading it until they do.

App need some work

I think the concept is great but the app itself just makes this whole thing quite torturous. As a busy working mum I don’t have time to log all food within 2 hours OR wait whilst it crashes and takes 5 mins to re-open.
I’ve done 4 weeks but that’s enough for me!

Has Potential

But this app is far from smooth, and gets stuck often. I signed up for the study, but in just the first day, the app locked up in photo mode, and I needed to add things I had consumed earlier. I got so frustrated that I gave up. I’m super-busy, and if I can’t log things very quickly, I cannot participate. Now I can’t figure out how to let them know I am no longer participating...

I will keep the app for now, and try it again in a couple of months; hopefully it will stop freezing up. The features and such are good, just don’t work as they should. Keep working on it!
