  • Favorite spades and euchre app - buuuuuttt

The skill level of other members is quite high which allows me to lose a bunch sure - but also teaches me so much!! I’ve become much better at spades especially. In general the app is great too. Will say at times, if you decide to purchase chips, it seems like the app stacks the odds against you as you get lower - probably in hopes to sell more chips. It’s a business so I guess I don’t blame them too much but as long as it doesn’t bleed me completely dry and I get the chance to win back. Lol

“Buuuuuttttt” Update: kind of annoying how people will block or report you as cheating, simply because they didn’t win or assume I possibly can’t be a good player. It causes my deals to be bad for the next few hands in the current game and the next game or two. I’ve been keeping pulse on how an opponent will act and check my log to see if they reported or blocked me. And like clockwork nothing but bad hands if they do. How is this fair? Actually works as a strategy in a current game. Block or report someone then remove it. Repeat. I’ve tested that too - blocked someone and bam, they had bad cards Lol. Not sure if it’s just an unfortunate byproduct of regulating or if it can somehow be changed to a better set up but it’s very annoying.

Glad you like the app! For what it's worth, we only use random deals - that's the experience we want to play too. Unfortunately they don't always produce fair results, but rest assured that even if your luck gets unbalanced for a bit, it won't be because of your chips status. Response to update: to be clear, we do not alter your deals because someone blocked or reported you. We even provide stats to see how your hands look over time. You can find them in the main menu by going to Statistics, Deal Statistics, then choosing "Start Logging My Deals".
  • Love it!!

So many card games!! If you like 500, Hearts, Spades ect. then get this app.
Play with others online with hardly any ads which is the best part!
So many different games and it even lets you chose the suite you want to play in depending on the rules you prefer.
    Definitely couldn’t recommend more!
  • 500 needs to be fixed

We used to love Trickster when we first tried it for 500. Now, not so much. We’ve used it for games with friends and also to play against the computer. The computer partners a live player has often make incredibly bad bids. But the spread of deals is worse. I just tried played against three computer bots. I didn’t have the opportunity to make a bid until the 19th game, and I didn’t even get the joker until the 17th game. I did finally have a hand that was biddable in the 16th game, but I was overbid by my opponent. When a player plays against three bots, there should be an opportunity to choose that the real player is preferences on deals - or at least gets the chance to bid a winnable hand 25% of the time. We are shopping for another product.

We support a large variety of house rules and sometimes a specific house rule can trip up the bots. But we're always updating them based on feedback! We'd encourage you to reach out to us in-app via Help, Send Feedback and share details about the rules you play, some examples of where the bots mis-bid, and what you think they should've bid instead so we can improve them.
  • Great game.

    Game is great.
  • Generally good - some odd bot bids

Great to develop my beginner / intermediate bridge game. In Practice mode (as south) the algorithm tends to deal better to east west causing lots of PASS bids by north south and then we’re either decimated or defeating them.

Thanks for the review and feedback! FYI, if you want more opportunities to practice your bidding in practice Bridge games, you can go to "More Games / Rules" and enable "Best hand to me". You can also get a general assessment of your HCP over time if you turn on "Start Logging My Deals" in the main menu under Statistics, Deal Statistics (though that does not include "Best hand to me" deals). And we're continuing to make improvements to our Bridge bot so hopefully you'll see fewer odd bids in the future.
  • Worst

It’s actually quite a pathetic game
  • The game is absolute GARBAGE

It really deserves a minus rating. The algorithm is so ridiculous its pathetic. Its obvious that if you leave games early for whatever reason you get placed in a queue where you receive terrible hands without a face card for the foreseeable future. I’ve never seen so many 10 and under hands in any card game either real or computer simulated. The bots (computer) players are the most annoying part of the game and I cannot play with them on my team as I would imagine all non mentally challenged players feel. They will always play the highest card in their hand except when bidding and holding a K or Q. Thats when they’ll lead a small card so the J or 10 will get away. It defies all logic and even the worst player on the planet would see the folly of this type of play. Should you be fortunate enough to join a “human” player game its sometimes bearable until the algorithm determines its time for you to lose and lose you will. There are long stretches where the game prevents winning and there’s nothing you can do about it. I call those “trap” hands where 4 trump K high will not work. It’s guaranteed the A is out against you, but should you pass another suit will be in play! The entire game needs a major overhaul perhaps letting REAL world pitch players offer improvements and suggestion’s would be a first step. It’s obvious the outcome of EVERY game is predetermined at the start!

You can learn more about how we generate random deals and track your own deals using our Deal Statistics. We suspect you'll find the deals are more balanced than you think. In the main menu, go to Statistics, Deal Statistics, then turn on "Start Logging My Deals" to enable.
  • Repeats hands and games

If you play trickster Euchre frequently, you will find that not only do you get the exact hands that you have had previously, but so do the other players in the game. So the entire hand plays out fairly predictably. The dealing is not random and there seems to be a limit to the number of different hands and games that can be generated. This is a sad and frustrating experience and a major limitation on what is otherwise a fun app. Very disappointing and mystifying to me why the app can’t just deal cards randomly like in real card games.

We do deal randomly, but you can also turn on "Start Logging My Deals" and we'll help you check it. Not only will it compare your deals to an ideally random distribution, but it lets you download all of your deals from the past 60 days (so you can check if any actually repeated). Find it in the Statistics section under "Deal Statistics".
  • Trickster

Les règlements ne sont pas très clair mais des bons jeux une fois tu c’est les jouer
  • Good, but wish it was better

It’s a great app when enough people are playing and no bots are needed. The bots are useless though and almost always tilt the game in a less fun way. Also, the dealing isn’t totally random. If you’re winning big, the cards will get tougher. Same is true in reverse.

The worst problem now though is that players can just up and leave games regularly without much consequence. If they have a bad hand, gone. If they don’t like the way their partner played a hand, gone. If they don’t want to spend the time fighting to get back in a game, gone. Etc… Zero consequences or reward for sticking it out. It’s such a bummer to be playing and know that if something goes even the least bit awry you’re probably going to be left with bots.

All this was ok a few years ago when enough people played that someone else always jumped in if a player left. Now, seems like fewer and fewer people are playing.

If you reach out to us via our in-app feedback form (under Help, Send Feedback) we can look up your account and see if there's anything that may be limiting what players you can be matched with. For instance, players who quit games regularly like you mention are actually restricted from matching with players who typically finish all their games.
