  • Poor App, good supplier

    I have no problem with the supplier which has been consistent and reliable & relatively easy to get hold of by phone.
    The App has one major problem it logs me out after ever use and doesn’t have a setting in app to change and you can’t set thumbprint log in. I use the app to send readings and make payments which once in is easy to use just unfortunately one gets logged out , get this sorted and the my whole experience interfacing with ecotricity would go up to 5 stars.

  • It good but could be better.

    Would be great to use Face ID to login.
    As seem to be a slight glitch when I first try to login says try again, but work fine the second time.

    Other than that it’s great.
    Paying bills has never been so much fun ;)
  • Desperately Seeking Updates

    I’ve just signed up to Ecotricity as the rates are very competitive. However the app is a big disappointment. Aside from the fact you have to sign in every time you open the app, the functionality is clunky and with very basic information (see the OVO app for how to do it). For example, I have a smart meter and I’d like to see my usage on the app. It really should all sync up. Come on now people - TWO YEARS since the last update???

  • Faulty current outstanding charge

    The app doesn’t show the correct outstanding charge.
    Only by closing it and re-opening it does the figure update. This is misleading, irritating and really sloppy.
    It needs to be fixed - the fault has been present from the start of the app.

    Excellent, clean electricity provider. That to the provision of clean electricity. (5 stars) Currently, I shouldn’t go anywhere else.

    Every whole is constituted by the sum of its parts.

    This to the company: 1) tel communication with staff apparently friendly and forthcoming, but consecutively unresponsive, e.g. a matter was raised re UKPN’s niggle re meterbox gauge of wires used and this being the responsibility of the provider, and the provider (you) agreed in a friendly manner over the phone but then no comeback even after emails: we got our own electrician to do this at the eleventh hour (minus 1 star) … 2) Why is the app no longer showing full billing and reading history in Your Activity; this was a very practical little device indeed re one’s own statistics (minus 1 star): might wanna try reinstalling the app.

    Carry on improving, guys! You’re up against something very much equating an ethical-crime cartel enjoying anything from a tiny little thumbscrew to going to war (plus 2 stars)

  • Nice app but still estimated readings….

    App is easy to navigate; yet with all the technology to hand, still only give inaccurate estimated readings if you happen to be away from home when they give you a short opportunity to provide a reading, then subsequently bill you with said estimate.
  • No ambiguity

    You make paying energy bills almost a joy!! End of the month read my meters then submit them and receive a bill for what I’ve used.
    I know exactly where I am and that some multi national is not hoarding my hard earned cash.
  • The app login is just awful.

    First there is a login screen, then a login password screen, then a screen about speeding up your typing, then enter details and press Go. Then an error screen and please try again (only when the app has been closed and previously cleared but still annoying) and finally you are into the app. The app itself is good. In comparison, tap the British Gas app once and facial recognition takes you straight to the home page. Nuf said

  • This company emails you at 2am wanting money.

    I had to block Ecotricity as they hound you for money a few days after the bill. They emailed me at 2am today a few days after bill was released. They phoned my four times in work demanding payment and honestly they’re team were very unkind about it even though my pay day was on the Friday this was Wednesday. They can’t even give you a day before they start demanding payment. I’d avoid them.

  • Great app but….

    Love the ease of this app. My only issue would be that it doesn’t show your current balance. Sometimes I’m away or not able to check my balance…it would be great if the app could let the customer know how much credit they have!!!
