Solid turn-based tactical game
Building off the simple yet fun Pacific Fleet, Atlantic Fleet is essentially just that: Pacific Fleet, but with more. The graphics are better, the physics are better defined, the ship choices are better and more in depth, combat is vastly improved and more historically accurate - all while keeping the simple turn-based, move-aim-fire-repeat formula of Pacific Fleet.
There’s also three different campaign types: Campaign is the same as in PF, where one purchases ships for missions and gradually builds up an armada. Missions puts you in command of historical battles like the Denmark Straits, allowing you to command either side. Battle of the Atlantic (a game mode, not the game name) let’s you play out… well, the Battle of the Atlantic, from either side’s perspective. And of course we retain Custom Battles, the best part of PF, allowing you to create your own.
I don’t really have any negative criticism for the game. A couple of things bug me - small secondary guns take one turn to fire and so do primary guns, so why would you ever use secondaries? - but other than that, all I’d recommend is a few more ship classes.
It’d be nice if we could get another game in this refined style - re-do the Pacific War and do that theatre justice, or even a Cold War era one like a turn-based Cold Waters.Show lessWWWHHHHAAAAAATTTTTT?!!!!!!
Nice game but could be better
I LOVE this game but some ships are missing that I would love to see the USS Fletcher class Graf Zeppelin and ships like the camble town here are some reasons why. First, YES the Fletcher classes were used in the Atlantic and the Americans have corvettes and those are the CLOSEST and I mean CLOSEST TO destroyers. Second, the graf zeppelin was started before the war and was never completed and I would really want to fly stukas and Bf-109s that would fly to destroy ships. OFF TOPIC-QUESTION! I also would wanna use the float planes on the ship, would be nice, finally, THE WWI DESTROYERS WERE AMAZING especially the Capmbletown . One of the best games out there.
Been playing this game for over 4 years now. I never get bored and always find myself coming back for more action. Highly recommend this game to anyone who interested in naval combat etc. Really worth the money!Goldeeyy
Amazing
It’s an amazing offline game, addictive and exempt from In App Purchases. The music, the graphics, the gameplay, really puts you into the game. Sinking ships are horrifyngly realistic. It’s complex enough to be challenging and rewarding. I know it has not been updated in years but I firmly believe they could add historical events such as the breaking of Enigma (1 and 2), german u-boat operations near the Americas, the evolution of the war on the land (state of Europe to give a sense of urgency or time passing) and obviously adding more ships would be great.Show less^^vv<><>BA
The best game on my pad and phone
I’ve been playing this for years now and still my go to game for a bit of entertainment.
The improvements over Pacific fleet are immeasurable ( ships show damage is a big one ) and I just wish the developers would update the Pacific Fleet game to match this one so I could enjoy a different kind of campaign against more surface ships rather than the U boat war you end up playing in the Atlantic

amazing game but could use more ships (especially for the germans)
love the game, but i think the graf zepplin should be added so the germans can get a carrier and add some more american BBs such as the Wyoming class, New York class, Nevada class and add some american heavy/ light cruisers to the mix too like the pensacola and the Brooklyn and add some more ships for the germans besides the carrier i mentioned because the british have WAY more ships available than the germans and it would make "Battle of the Atlantic" mode more fun since u could counter more bbs and ships other than just subs after u sink the scharnhorst bbs and the bismark bbs when playing as the Allies. (also u should make a game like this based off of the Battle Of Jutland in WWI)Show lessWolfie577
