Terrible support, decent mail client
Currently, there are several bugs that have been introduced into the app. “sending messages” message persists at the bottom of the screen, covering up some of the UI. The developer simply does not care about these issues that have been happening consistently for years. I hate to say that the app is still usable and overall works well.

No signature
You can’t set up logos or links in the signature. You can only type out words. If you use software and websites to generate your signatures don’t download this app it will be completely useless for you.
Japanese language input not working
When I want to send message in Japanese language it does not work. It duplicates letters. Lack of support
Initially seems good, but…..
I got fed up with Outlook & chose this. I paid for it. It seemed better as in faster to receive & load. It was a quicker “tool”.
Over time & various devices - Mac Studio, laptop & 2 iPhones I find it doesn’t properly synch between them & it is, after 3 months, becoming slower to load. It groups message in a way I can’t find what I want or look for. Maybe I’m a dinosaur, but I know I sent or text but in search I can’t get it.
I really want to like it, I really want an alternative to Outlook, but…. It’s more of the same.

Update broke searches
The update that no one asked for ruined searching email threads. Now I have to manually go through replies to find the info I need. This was done to add some aesthetics, which really isn't pleasing or functional.
No notifications on my Apple Watch
I have the Mac version of Airmail and love it, so getting the IOS version was a natural step for me, and Its a great App, it works so well on my iPhone 14, but not at all on my Apple Watch, I can set up the glance but it freezes the watch when its activated, and I get no notifications on the watch at all when new email arrives, I have searched all the settings options but to no avail so the lack of Watch notifications just devalues it somewhat for me, hopefully the developers will fix this soon but for this bug I would have given the App 5*

Love/hate
I love/hate the app. Love that its good option to Outlook and Mail. What i hate about it is that its unyielding. For example the reply button has to sourced from a list. The signatures work, sometimes. There is no way to link it to Google calendar. And few more glitches. Hopefully, they will be corrected soon. One additional negative is the app does not contain spam filtering and requires outside help.

Great SW keeps nagging to go Pro
It should be a five star app, and it would be if it wasn't for the continual nagging pop up that keeps asking you to go to annual Pro subscription.
As a pensioner on a fixed income, I'm not going Pro but am being forced to re-evaluate other mail apps.

Less stable with time
I am using the app for quite some time now and I found it less stable. On Mac, IPad and IPhone. It’s really disappointing for an app with subscription.
