Annoying
This used to be my favourite email app, but I can no longer use it since they introduced a big "exclusive offer" panel advertising Airmail Pro, which pops up every time one opens the app. It is far too intrusive. Don't they realise it puts people off?
Incomplete
This app feels like a unfinished product masqueraded with shiny eye candy. Some basic functionality not working like starred emails are not displayed. User is present with infinitely long options lists with no organisation. Overall a half baked product.

Pushing not stop for paid subscription
This is a good app on desktop, but on mobile, you will get a prompt to upgrade for the paid plan EVERY single time the app comes in the foreground making it spammy and very annoying.

Honestly, this is the closest email I’ve come across that lets me do everything to organize. I’m happy to pay the subscription fees but by paying monthly/yearly fee I expect major features to work and the developer be more transparent about what they are fixing rather than “Bug Fixes” every update. That’s where I’d take the half-star off. There is one issue I have with focus inbox that does work on iOS but it works absolutely perfectly on MacOS version. Supposedly they are reviewing this issue right now but haven’t see anything yet. Again, this is by far the best email client I’ve used. I was using another top client email that their developers broke and couldn’t fix and it was a deal breaker so I had to switch. I’m glad I gave AirMail another shot because it’s exactly what I need. I’m just hoping it stays stable and main features continually work!

Just stop with pop ups
God damn. Just stop giving me pop ups everytime i open the app. It makes the app useless. I ll have to uninstall it and use another app. It doesnt even let you read email without having to close popup.
Greedy
I paid for this app some years ago and expected to use it regularly but they switched to subscription mode. I have no use of the advanced features so my expectation was that I will be able to use the basic version. Alas no. The anoying pop ups come all the time just like if I am using the free or demo without any regard for the fact that I have PAID for it already.

Great app
I am been trying to find an email app i like. I have tried alot of the free apps but each and everyone of them had a problem. This airmail app is great.

I’ve compared, like Airmail best!
Compared Airmail with: Spark, Canary, Edison Email/OnMail, MimeStream, and Mailplane (defunct).
IMO… there is not one perfect email client that will be the best for everyone… the trick is to find the one that matches up best with the way you like to work.
For me, that is Airmail. Yes, I know that it is a subscription. I want to support continued development, so I will pay the fee. I have not been using the app all that long, so I can’t comment on all the negative issues that others seem to have. Also, I have not reached out to support yet, so also cannot comment on that.
Tha app so far works for me with multiple email addresses, but more importantly, it allows me to work the way I like to work!
So far, that is definitely worth the price of admission.

Too many bugs
Too heavy app for any ipad. Slow, full of bugs, specially with external keyboards. The only thing that has made me keep it is the possibility of managing and creating labels in any kind of account other than gmail
