Booked a taxi yesterday afternoon for an 8.55am pick up today for a 9.15am train departure from Falmouth Docks a mere 2 minute journey from Events Square. A friend volunteered to drop us off and as we drove off the taxi appeared at 9.13. We. We’re too late and missed the train. The driver knowing that the train left at 9.15 called me to ask if I still required said taxi.
I understand that the car was not an abacus taxi, but another Falmouth firm. Come on guys get your act together, I understand that staff are currently leaving you combined operation due to the way you are currently operating.

Buggy, latent issues and unreliable
There is a major difference between the app and the phone operators with little oversight between the two and even less accountability with operators saying application bugs are not their fault, with the customer then having to pick up the pieces.
Abacus are a good taxi company in general but the poor customer service lets them down.

Cannot log into existing account
When I installed the app and opened it for the first time there is no option to log into an existing account
Reliable and friendly service
No issues. Always on time. Used for many local journeys. App sometimes doesn’t allow bookings at busy times so worth calling to check.

Wonderful Drivers, app needs fixing for availability!
There three stars are for the drivers and staff, they’re wonderful people and I’ve had no issues with them. However, the app tries to be annoying at the worst of times. Instead of indicating that there’s no cars available, it’ll just put a ‘Payment failed’ notice down. It really needs a system that can tell users that you don’t have cars available from x and y time. As I have spent ages in the past trying to wrestle to get a taxi booked within a two hour slot, only to ring them directly and they booked it in for 40 mins time. The app wouldn’t even let me book one for this time as the payment would keep ‘failing’.
If this issue gets fixed, the app would be 5 stars. Easily - they’re absolutely amazing staff and drivers!
