I find the products being sold on the Abel & Cole Platform exceptionally healthy and of high quality. Eating clean on another level!
Bugs
Tapping search brings up a search bar but no txt prompt. Tapping it again and still no text entry prompt, only on the third touch you can then enter text.
Handy
Very handy to have the app on the phone.
Generally works well but there are occasional glitches when a reduced price offer seems not to be applied to an item that is on regular re-order already ‘in the basket’, even on refresh. This means I have to add the item on offer and delete the one already in the basket, or move the latter to a later date.
The ‘skip’ button for when you don’t need a regular purchase on a particular week is also helpful, but can be a bit slow.
These glitches are the only reason for not giving 5 stars.

Great salad and soup kits
Eating more fresh veg since receiving these boxes. Ingenious salads with ingredients that I would not have thought of putting together that, in fact, make for wonderful recipes.
Organic food great not so the app!
So the food is fabulous and I order every week.
However had a new iPhone this week and now the app no longer works. It doesn’t open and I get a message telling me where my data is stored 🤷♀️
I have uninstalled, reinstalled and checked for updates all to no avail…
Anyone any idea how to fix this?

Great food and easy ordering
Great range of food from B-corp, high welfare, to organic and all easy to order on the app. Best are the veg and fruit boxes with limited to no plastic used. You really notice the difference in comparison to the amount of plastic from a supermarket shop - scary!
So far excellent !
I have just received my second box of organic veg and fruit - absolutely love the first two boxes - so fresh and tasty. Really enjoying experimenting with different vegetables - never normally buy uncooked beetroot and today roasted the beetroot and it was delicious ! Cannot normally buy organic sweet potatoes locally and again the quality and taste is so much better. I’ve always brought as much organic as possible but the supermarket organic is no comparison to what I have had from Abel & Cole

iPhone App is buggy
Updated my regular order of almond milk next week (not this week) by one bottle and in the process of doing so it cancelled my order for this week.

I’ve been an Abel and Cole customer for decades, during which I’ve moved house 3 times. No A&C would be a deal breaker if I moved again!
They delivered food to me reliably during the early Covid days of uncertainty and scarcity. They deserve my loyalty for that!
Their customer service team help kindly, fairly and efficiently in the rare event of something going wrong and are open to suggestions. The delivery staff are always friendly and helpful..

Great food, great service, great ethics.
Transitioning
A strange title maybe, but having been unable to afford real quality Organic food for a number of years, I had to go back to the odd bits and pieces of organic foods in supermarkets. I made the decision eventually that having had 8 years of several episodes of ‘chaos with cancer’, that ABLE AND COLE had to become one of my priorities in life if I were to survive longer than my mother did, dying at 67 from bone cancer.
Organic food for me, is less about taste (though this is always a bonus)than knowing I am consuming ethically produced NO SPRAYING OR VACCINES, OR CRUELTY TO ANIMALS, than anything else.
Abel & Cole provide me with that safety… so I am gradually transitioning, as & when finances allow, to consume only Organic or whatever percentage I can of their produce. Under the guidance of a highly skilled VEGAN Nutritionist, I am guided to consume meat, as my body needs it! So A&C help me achieve this, and I am truly grateful as I feel safe with them! Organic living saves lives! Thank you Abel&Cole! 💚❤️💚

I am even more grateful for Abel & Cole since my local organic, packaging free, refill shop closed. A&C sell everything they did, many refillables (zero waste) and everything is wonderful quality. They also have a mouthwatering selecting of ready meals and treats, as well as their top quality fresh produce. And the weekly delivery runs like clockwork. Highly recommend!

Abel & Cole is a great company that lives its core values, their products are fresh and delicious, all their meat and veg taste so good compared to supermarkets’ food, there is a world of difference, their customer service is unbelievably friendly and efficient. If you care, they care, they won’t brush you off or let you down. They even call you back to keep you posted with what they have done to address your issue.
Thanks to the app, I can adapt my weekly delivery, swap the items I don’t need for something else that meets my fancy, it’s very easy to use and I get all the information I need about each product.
