It taken away my entitlement of allowence, it over paid on OT, it cannot roundup correctly for our hourly rate, it changed our hour input to Time in Lou without noticing us
Not working on IPhone 13 Pro Max
Can fill in all my info and times but unable to sign off times (also seems to be missing am / pm on the times when scrolllung as other employees phones , have upgraded to a new iphone 17 and still NOT able to put my times in

Terrible support system. People working within the organisation do not understand the complexities of payroll. Customer service is terrible. Response times are terrible for such a critical item as payroll. The software is suitable for basic payroll rather than a complex mining related business.

This is a good app though not gonna lie, but what they can improve on is adding face is in, lets just say… face id recognition
App that force you turn on location
This is a crazy app that ask you to share your location and allow it running at backend, almost means it tracking your location 24/7, and you have to turn on so that you can clock in for the work
Can’t get it working
I have been having trouble with it ever since I started working. I’ve noticed that the Leave , working hours and Timesheet functions are not visible or accessible on my Definitiv app. I’ve tried updating the app and checking on different devices, and tried different ways but the options still don’t appear. My co-workers they all have these functions but me.

You sure this is designed for Australian payroll, with Enterprise Agreements in place?
User here. Well my company have been using Definitiv for a couple of years now, after what seemed to be some amazing marketing thrown at them. Our previous payroll program was working very well but that’s bureaucracy for you.
It is awful from a user standpoint. No flexibility if there are flexible hours for entering of timesheets. Will literally get overpaid or underpaid. Payslips are really poor and don’t show important tax information, such as; how much of tax deducted is standard income tax, how much is HELP loan, etc. Just really poor.
It’s so hated where I work and the issues are so common and rife that we aren’t allowed to contact payroll direct, we need to go via our Line Managers. Essentially it has created more work for everyone involved and way too many headaches.

Time clock server request timeout
App is very glitchy. I have had nothing but trouble when trying to use the time clock with constant server timeout requests. I have deleted the app and reinstalled multiple times.
My company emailed Definitiv and their response was much the same, delete the app and reinstall. I have done this again and fail to get further support.
Nevertheless, it doesn’t work reliably. Very poor app, very poor support and it is a PITA to use.

The payslip is so simple and not broken down so if there are any errors is not obvious.
