Reconcile feature improvement suggestion
When I select “Show Reconciled,” the register jumps all the way back to the original starting date of the account. Since I have years of transactions, I then have to scroll through a huge amount of history just to get back to recent activity.
It would be very helpful to have a date range option for reconciled transactions, such as Last 30 Days, Last 60 Days, Last 90 Days, or a custom date range. That would make it much easier to review or verify recently reconciled transactions without having to scroll through years of records.
Great app overall, and this would be a very useful quality-of-life improvement for long-time users.
Excellent Checkbook App - Just Needs True Family Sync
Our one significant limitation is iCloud syncing between two separate Apple/iCloud accounts. We currently use the Peer Email Sharing feature, with each of our email addresses configured for automatic sharing when a transaction is saved. It works, but it still requires the recipient to receive/open and post the transaction, so it isn’t a true shared, two-way database.
What we’d really love to see is the ability to designate one or more Accounts 3 accounts as shared accounts, allowing two people with separate Apple IDs/iCloud accounts to have read/write access to the same account. Ideally:
• I enter a transaction → it automatically appears on my wife’s device
• My wife enters a transaction → it automatically appears on mine
• Either of us can edit, delete, reconcile, or otherwise update transactions
• Changes synchronize automatically without email, Dropbox backup/restore, or manual importing
• Individual accounts could be shared rather than requiring the entire Accounts 3 database to be shared
I understand that Accounts 3’s current iCloud Sync is designed around a single iCloud account, while Apple’s iCloud/CloudKit platform supports sharing records between different iCloud users.
Is true two-way/shared-account synchronization between separate Apple IDs something SVT Software is considering or currently working on?
If so, we’d love to know whether it is on the roadmap. If not, I would strongly encourage SVT to consider it. It seems like a natural evolution of Accounts 3 and would solve what I suspect is a very common use case for married couples and families.
We really like Accounts 3 and would much rather see this capability added than have to move to a subscription-based budgeting app simply to get shared synchronization.
Thank you for continuing to support and improve such a great checkbook app!
Transaction Sharing by email Stopped Working
I am having a problem with the email backup/restore function in Accounts 3.
I have been using Accounts 3 for years and routinely transfer my updated database from one iPhone to another by creating a backup and sending it by email.
Recently, the email restore stopped working.
The backup is being created successfully from the phone containing the newest data. On the other phone, when I open the backup attachment, Accounts 3 says that it is overwriting the database, then closes and reopens. However, the old database remains unchanged.
I tested the exact same current database using Dropbox. The Dropbox restore worked successfully and all of the newest data appeared on the other phone.
Therefore, the backup/database itself is good. The problem appears to be specifically with the email restore function.
Could you please investigate this issue and let me know if there is a workaround or an update planned to fix it? BTW, I’m on iOS 26.6 & the latest Accounts 3 software

Amazing App but…
But I’ve recently noticed that the app isn’t backing up on my Dropbox. I’ve unlinked it and relinked it but it doesn’t work. I would have preferred to email customer service but the website says to post inquiries on the review.
Lost my Accounts2 database
Love this app but…
Accidentally deleted an account
Thank your for your help.
