Forced to buy from Advertisers before I can continue to use the app

When I go through the advertisement that comes up periodically, there’s a certain time limit and then it says I can receive my reward from the advertisement but when I hit the X to receive a reward, it doesn’t work. The only thing it works is the appetizer so this app is not forcing me to buy from the advertiser every time they advertise.
