The ABSOLUTE CHOICE IS ADODE

I have been using Adobe software and Adobe everything since forever. The truth is that I am so freaking old that I actually started digital design moments before the first Adobe Photoshop software for my huge Yosemite Apple computer. The reasons why I went back to get my degree in art/design while working was Added based brilliance. I don’t even WANT to go back in my life and describe what it was like before ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD… became the cloud after the storm. You know the one that refracts light into the rainbow colors?….
But back to ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD. Please if you’re a designer artist or production artist. Or if you’re just you looking for the best way to get a suite of products for your phone or laptop or iPad or whatever; get this plan. I don’t know the full amount of money you will save….. because it’s just ridiculous to not check this out. At least check it out. If you do then this review is just that. When you check. You’ll realize. The best way to get everything needed for the price of one or two apps per month. Do it

Seems Great So far

I just wish they would give you some time before reviewing,Seems fine so far but I'm still getting my head round it all,I know it's going to be great,But I would like to discover that for myself had it for a week used it briefly twice. I will be back when I'm impressed in my own time 😊
Well a few years on I have absolutely loved seeing the Work of others and have shared some. And have had the occasion to try my Hand at a few things.

Better online

Way better online. Finding files is almost impossible on the app. Sync not working properly.

Adobe is stealing your work

I’ve been using Adobe products for 20years, I’ve paid a fortune for it. To now find out that Adobe is using the creative cloud to sneak in and steal our private work to train their ai machines is disgusting. The CEO doesn’t care about artists, he only cares about money.

Adobe abuses copyright

They want to use private data to train their AI without your consent.

Unsatisfied

Can’t even open a file, no preview. It’s just stuck on loading.

Adobe has gone to the dogs

While implementing their Express platform, which has varying functionality between your devices, they are now deleting files that you’ve worked on. Needless to say this is massively frustrating. They are phasing out Spark, but zero availability to create quick web page design (as with Spark) in their Express platform, which they don’t have available for a tablet and where they are sending you in lieu .This has been next level frustrating for my kid who’s been working on a school project and just lost it all. Shait!!! Horrible customer care. But fret not, new things are coming soon (not sorry we screwed you now though).

Lucky me, I have a one year subscription.
P.S. I’ve been working on/with Adobe since 1997, so I’m not a rookie. I’m witnessing the downfall of a previously awesome empire.

Terrible!

Creative cloud syncing is taking up so much of my storage yet there are no files to delete! Someone needs to fix these issues

Awsome

Works really well but I don’t know how to do the font thing

Scammers

The hook you into a plan and don’t let you cancel without paying an insane cancellation fee, do not start a subscription with them. They dont let you delete your account unless you pay.

Add Firefly? And a privacy concern

Please add Firefly under the apps tab. I understand if it’s not feasible to create a standalone app if it requires too much computing power, but a link to the web app would suffice.

I’m also disturbed by the amount of “Linked to you” data that is being collected. Why do you need my contacts and what constitutes “other data”? I’m familiar with the adage “if a product is free, you’re the product” but I pay good money every month for my subscription so it’s definitely not free. Therefore I think Adobe should back off a bit and downscale their greedy data collection practices.

Response from developer

Hi, Thanks for the suggestion! This would make a great feature request. In fact, you can do that by posting it on our forum as an Idea. Go to forums.adobe.com click New Post and fill out the form. Put each idea on a separate post. These requests are tracked by our developers and other users can vote on them as well. ^Rc

Folders

I wish there were less automatically created folders when opening an account. It is sometimes difficult to find content. I would rather everything be in the one folder and then I can arrange in a way that I can understand.

Formidable

Avoir accès à certaines applications sur son mobile est merveilleux !

J’ai hâte que Illustrator en fasse partie !

Merci

Deleted account issue

I have contacted these people NUMEROUS times. They say that they make it very easy for you to stop any payments, anytime. This is the worse app I have ever used in my life. I had to delete my card off the app, delete my account, had to delete my card off my pay pal, deleted my PayPal, and THE PAYMENT WAS STILL GOING THROUGH! I ended up having to cancel my card. I don’t know how, they told me that they payment would have stopped onto to notice through 2 months there were 12! Transactions. Of $50+ after I had called Adobes customer support. and I was not paying my credit card off as I had not used it and never looked at my statement as I didn’t think I owed anything. This app is the most difficult. And where was this money going with no account I have no idea. The app works okay, but trying to get ahold of anybody. Isn’t even worth it, this app doesn’t even deserve a star. Nothing but a money grab, and they will do anything to milk you dry of money. Now I’m out $600 because of this app. Absolutely disgusting. Don’t get it. It’s not worth your time. Nobody’s time. I will be telling everybody about this app. And I hope this app becomes no more.

Slow

I use creative cloud as it came with Fresco. It’s a nightmare I wish would stop. It’s so slow and incredibly frustrating. I use Fresco to create animations for my music vids but it auto saves to the cloud rather than locally and often freezes. I have lost so much work I usually just give up. I have no idea why Adobe insist on its use and don’t appear to enable the choice of saving files locally which would speed production. In my experience it’s completely useless.

Hi! We apologize for any frustration caused. Could you please provide us with more details? It would be helpful if you could give us a detailed description of the issue you are facing along with screenshots on forums.adobe.com. This will allow us to better understand and assist you. Thank you. ^Rc

Sync is clunky and unpredictable

When this works, it’s excellent. But I’d put that at about 50%. The rest of the time, you have to troubleshoot something in Creative Cloud or an associated app to get media to transfer. Sometimes media is available and pre-populated, and sometimes, when you open an associated app, it is not. You never know when you open an app if your media will be available to the app or will have to download, re-download or be manually assigned through the “find and connect” function. There’s no rhyme or reason to this that I can determine. I have video clips selected to be available for offline use in Creative Cloud, which seems to suggest they are stored locally on my iPad, but I still need to have Wi-Fi access when I open an app like Rush to be able to even open my projects. What’s the point of local storage if I need to access the cloud to be able to work? Adobe touts the portability and syncability of this app as one of its great features, and it is, when it works. The constant troubleshooting gets old.

My Adobe experience

I took advantage of the Black Friday Adobe Creative Cloud offer a couple of weeks ago. The creative cloud app seems to be an attempt to simplify what Adobe have to offer and promises to pretty much cover everything for everyone. There is a lot to choose from but none of it is intuitive or easy to use. Every App has an incredibly steep learning curve, the apps aren’t particularly clear about what they do and how you can use them for work or creativity, they all kind of cross over and feel mixed up and overlapping somehow. Just figuring out how each app fits your needs is difficult before you even start figuring out how to use each individual app.
I’ve got a 12 month subscription and I feel like that’s how long it’s gona take for me to understand the mammoth learning curve ahead.
I hope it’s going to be worth my time and money but right now I’m not convinced.
