Absolute trash
I’d rate it zero stars if it was an option. This app never works , I paid for a full year and it continues to fail multiple times. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP. Any alternative is better.
Disappointing
The app worked well for a bit and then suddenly stopped working. Your recording fails to transcribe and goes into a “failed recordings” folder. When you try to recover it for transcription, you get an error message saying the problem will be fixed in 5-6 minutes, but it never is. There is no response from their support email and you are stuck with a non-working $99 app.

This app worked a few times when first purchased and has stopped working since January. Receiving error message that AI generated service is unavailable and they are working on fixing… this had been months now with no responses to my help request emails to their support teams.
Doesn’t work, wasted time and money and impacted work.
Randomly stopped working and never worked again. A lot of disappointment in recording an hour long call just to have it fail once complete. AI summary will cancel if the screen locks or you don’t watch it while loading. Error message has been saying issue will be resolved in 5-6 minutes for over a week. Crazy behavior for a paid service.

Don’t waste your money
I spent $100 for the annual subscription and I regret it. First it was working great! Then I started making folders to organize notes but as soon as I made 1 folder… ALL PREVIOUS NOTES VANISHED. You can only make one folder at a time.
This whole week I have been trying to make the recording into notes and I keep getting failed messages… instantly! I have emailed support but it has been over three weeks and yet no answer. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

I’ve decided to cancel my subscription as the app is no longer functioning as expected. When I first started using NoteOn, it worked smoothly and was a helpful tool. However, in recent weeks I’ve encountered repeated error messages that prevent me from using it effectively. I hope future updates address these issues.

I have been using this app for a while, and it was working great. Recently, I have been receiving error messages, and it does not create at all. This is quite frustrating, to the point that I have relinquished my subscription, leaving a valuable document in abeyance. It would have been a five, but the app is not creating the document. Deception
Don’t waste your money don’t waste your time. First of all you don’t have anyone to contact. If you have any issues with the application second of all, it was running fine the first week and then after that, I can’t seem to load anything or create conscription or anything it records, but it doesn’t create What I need. It is constantly with errors and errors and errors. I’ve tried submitting an email, which is the only thing you can do is submit an email and no one ever gets a hold of you so don’t waste your money. You have to select at least one star in order to submit or else I wouldn’t rank any of it.

Will not generate new recordings
Have tried many emails to customer support, no response, previous notes in folders just go away and need to be restored constantly and can’t be separated into folders again

What made the tool great was the AI feature, which is always broken & the team is unresponsive. There are more reliable apps, don’t waste your money!

AI "notetaker" can't answer questions or edit summary
i've used a few AI notetaking apps and a key feature is to be able to dive deeper with the AI chatbot - ask it for a more robust summary for a certain timestamp, to consolidate all mentions of something, etc. but this one isn't capable of any of that - the basic summary from the recording is okay but i cannot get the AI chatbot to answer ANY questions. it just says it's perpetually "typing." if the app can't manage its basic functionality, what's the point? it's a glorified transcriber.
