Women

Why do I have to pay to talk to a woman ai???

Mid!

It was ok but having to pay for ai therapy?not cool

Robotic voices render the app unusable

I was genuinely excited about using this app. I downloaded the lifetime membership which was available for free for one day in the App Store. When I tried to use it however, the voices were dreadful! Robotic voices that would have sounded dated even 40 years ago! Given We all chat with natural-sounding voices these days, there is no going back to such primitive and unnatural sounding voices, regardless of any other features the app may have. I am not one to leave a negative review just for the sake of it. That said, in this instance, I am left with no option but to delete the app. It’s rubbish.

Restore purchase doesn’t work ☹️

Bought the app earlier in the week on my iPhone installed on my iPad and it was asking for a $9.99 fee instead of restoring purchase

This is good

Nice to have a pocket therapist even if the interaction is a bit generic

NOT AI….!

This sounds like a robot talking to you from the 1980s it Does Not sound Anything like AI.

Me gusta pero no está en español

Es verdad que si le escribes te contesta en español ,pero el reconocimiento de voz no funciona

Not bad

It is a useful tool for the moment. But without “memory storage “ of the conversation, It cannot be used as an any kind of a therapy tool.

So authentic sounding

My favorite therapy app. It’s like the AI therapist is anticipating your responses and provides the proper approach to your issues while you type

Needs improvement.

The AI therapist voice sounds robotic. It is difficult to overcome this when the tone is monotonous throughout the session.

A question for the Developer...

Why, oh why don't you offer Landscape Display mode?? I use a giant iPad Pro and when I use portrait mode, it tends to tip over. Considering the three figure cost of repairing a broken screen, etc., it's hard to even use your app. Please consider upgrading your app with an option for landscape display mode and I will try to use and rate MindFix. Thanks in advance for considering this essential improvement🙏🏼

Therapy with no privacy policy

The privacy policy is non-existent. Imagine speaking to a therapist where there's no guarantee of privacy.

Obviously a con to boost the number of downloads.

Was tricked into thinking the developer would fulfill their promise of lifetime offer to find out U have 23 and somewhat hours remaining on a countdown! Don’t allow yourself to be disappointed like I am.

cant chat face to face

just like an search engine…whats the point here?

Not good

I took the time to explain my situation and it just errors out. Not good.

Can’t talk to any bots

Full paywall. Can’t talk to anyone. Love a waste of my time

Highly upsetting aspects

It’s incredibly upsetting and inappropriate for the AI therapist to keep asking me to rate the app while I’m literally sharing how deeply sad I am. I’ll be like: “man I’m dealing with the pain of (insert trauma here)” and they’ll be like “that sure is painful…. Please rate the app if I’m helpful!” Like dear lord maybe ask while I’m on the Home Screen or literally just any time that’s not in the middle or start of “therapy.” Maybe if it could learn recognize when the client is sending more positive responses to then ask for a rating? Because the middle of my depression session doesn’t feel like a good time.

I tried out two different AI therapist so far on the 3 day free trial and every time after the first 2-3 texts I send it asks to rate the app and absolutely makes me feel like what I’m saying doesn’t matter/ that it can’t gauge proper emotional etiquette which you would think would be super important for a therapy inspired app.

Other than that I sincerely think this app has amazing potential and have enjoyed some of the back and forth of letting out my thoughts and feelings but for some reason just felt so annoyed by the constant asking to rate during literally the worst times 😭

This app feels more like an interactive emotion journal where you can let out what’s troubling and consider the advice given in return. It can also help guide you to work through whatever you might be going through. So I feel like it’s a step up from solely journaling feelings in a notebook.

One last thing that’s interesting is that just like real life you should try multiple of their AI therapists to see which ones click with you/ feel most helpful.

Response from developer

We're really sorry that the bot asked you to give a rating when you were deeply sad. The reason that could've happened is because of a bug, ideally we just ask our users to give a rating when they end the chat (about how they felt about the conversation), this is done to improve the AI engine. That being said, sorry for the texts! Could you please try the app once and try if it still occurs, it's probably due to a bug. In case they continue to appear again, contact us on boltqmedia@gmail.com and we'll be happy to help you!

Voices are too robotic

Voices are too robotic

Pointless

What’s the point of this if you can’t chat freely with no limits without having to pay

Response from developer

We're really sorry that you feel that way. I wish we could make everything inside the app-free, but we work very hard on optimizing the AI therapists, we try to make sure that they offer advices that are really helpful. We also have a free trial which allows people to experience the app before actually paying for the subscription. I know we are aren't doing any charity, but trust us, there's huge amount of efforts put in by different people to give good responses and help everyone! Everything being said, an average actual in-person therapy can cost anywhere between $20-100/session. MindFix offers UNLIMITED AI-based therapy for just $9.99/year as of today! While MindFix is not a replacement for actual therapy, it's really helpful for a lot of people who struggle to talk about their problems and need guidance! Please do reach out to us at boltqmedia@gmail.com and we'll explain you about what goes in getting accurate responses in detail!
