Akasa air always keeps me updated with flight status notifications right on my phone.
Best airline and app interface
Akasa Air has to be one of the best airlines I’ve flown with. Their crew are courteous and polite. Some reviews are negative about certain crew, but not about the app itself. The app is easy to navigate, and it’s quite simple to make payments. I would choose them whenever available.

POOR SOFTWARE.
Needs A LOT of improvements in “India’s fastest growing airline” app.
Worst ever airline in India.
Despite my various attempts to resolve a simple matter through calls, but the waiting time exceeds an hour and then calls disconnect. Had attempted to reach the support team on social media, they only replied only once (Bot reply possibly) and generated a ticket for further action and then ghosted me completely. No status shared. Then I tried to reach the nodal officers desk, mailed him, still no response, auto replies mention 24 hours but never addressed, reached vice president (Ramita Vyas) on email, no response. Now I am forced to take a legal action against the mental harassment. Hope, Ms Ramita, is reading this and will update the details at least a call, maybe. Never recommending anyone to use this scammers airline ever.

Worst customer care
Extremely poor support for pet travel services. I submitted a pet travel confirmation request on 6 December and was promised a response within 24 hours. Even after 4 plus days there was no reply. I contacted customer care multiple times and was assured callbacks every time but never received one. I escalated the matter to the nodal officer and appellate authority, yet there is still no response. Due to this delay ticket fares have already increased by around Rs 5000. Very disappointing experience with no accountability.

Hassle free and super easy
Had a great experience using the Akasa Air portal! Super easy to book, very clear, and everything worked smoothly. Web check-in was quick, and managing my booking was hassle-free. Really loved how simple and user-friendly the whole process was. Highly recommend.

App doesn’t open on my iPhone
The app stopped working few months back like i couldn’t login so i updated app and now it doesn’t open at all. It crashes every time as i click on the app icon. Tried reinstalling several times but doesn’t work.
Poor Customer Support Experience Before Travel
I have an upcoming flight with Akasa and noticed a mistake in the name on my ticket. I immediately emailed their support team with all the details and valid ID proof, but even after more than 24 hours, I received no response. With my flight just a day away, this lack of communication is extremely stressful and disappointing. A simple name correction or even a confirmation email would have helped. I hope Akasa improves its customer support responsiveness, especially for time-sensitive issues.

App is very slow. Developers push the updates almost every week and this makes it impossible for others to use it as they need to update it first. Frequent updates should be avoided unless very much necessary.

Poor App Experience – Basic Features Missing: No option to remove add ons
Tried doing a web check-in and explored a meal-seat combo by mistake. There’s no option in the app to remove it, and now I’m being forced to pay ₹1500 for something I didn’t intend to add. Called customer care, and they asked me to email support , seriously? This is a basic feature that should be on the app itself. Wasting customers’ time and creating a frustrating experience. Please fix this.

Decent quality app
The app was decent quality. Account creation was easy. Could find my trip and add to my account. No section for middle name, so put it in first name (Space allowed now). I was able to check in 2 days before for all passengers on my PNR. Boarding pass was supposed to be available 6 hours before flight but made available 9-10 hours beforehand. Could add to wallet and share on WhatsApp too.
