Extremely Difficult to Figure Out!
The app is extremely difficult to navigate, why can’t it have simple menus that make sense instead of hidden drop down features and confusing options?! Just let someone easily select which videos to view then select download if desired!
If I need a video, I manually connect the dash cam to my laptop and download the video files because the app is awful!

Makes thousands of blank albums
Tried downloading a recording to my phone. The software is very clunky and hard to use but I finally got it to download 1 single video file. In the process it created thousands of blank photo albums!
I am now going to have to manually delete each blank album one at a time

Doesn’t work
Akaso V1 DOESNT show on my iPhone. Downloaded the Akaso Car app as told, and it DOES nothing. Doesn’t seem to connect thru Wi-Fi to the phone. Got no help from them either.
Difficult to Connect and Use
The wifi in the dash cam is a pain to connect to, and app will crash when trying to view anything off of the main screen. Not reliable to pull up as needed.
Good camera quality terrible execution
Quality dash camera, but the app is terrible. Was in a car accident and can’t even use the dash camera videos as evidence because you can’t save them on your smart phone.
Do not buy from akaso
It really shows the quality of this company. The app doesn’t work so don’t even bother downloading. The live cam doesn’t work, the Wifi download of videos doesn’t work. Nothing works. What a joke

EDIT: Sur IOS 14.1, iphone 10 et Akaso v1, application mise à jour aujourd'hui (11 novembre 2020) en 1.3.2, le wifi ne fonctionne plus du tout... impossible de connecter la caméra au téléphone

OK pour récupérer les vidéos stockées sur la carte mémoire par le biais du wifi, mais impossible de regarder en direct, quand on essaye de connecter la caméra, l'application crash et se ferme...
Pourriez-vous debugguer l'appli, s'il vous plaît !?
Il y a également un problème au niveau de l'heure enregistrée sur la vidéo (horodateur), elle ne correspond pas à l'heure de la caméra, il y a un décalage d'une heure qui correspond certainement au décalage heure d'hiver / heure d'été

Real time not working returning do not waste your time on this
Live view not working
Live view is not working also when I download a videos, it just download seconds not the complete video 3 or 5mns, fix it please !!
Wifi real time live view not working properly
One of the main reason I bought Akaso dash cam is because of the real time live video which is very convenience. Unfortunately it does not work. So disappointing. Tried reformating my SD card but still not working. It only works when I have a phone call from somebody. Which we discovered accidentally when i received a phone call. Other than that if I done with the phone call the real time video disappears again.

Junk
App will no longer let me pull videos. After connecting to WiFi the dash cam will freeze and show a solid blue light. Over 7 months with this issue and no updates available.

Could you make an update for this app. It starts to crush. I can’t connect to camera anymore
App crashes all the time
Finally figured out how to download video clips (very slow). Can not access cam settings from my phone and when I access ‘local’ the app just crashes. Cannot see live view or gps or speed. Fix this!!
Crashes after update
Version 1.3.1 crashes every time I try to connect to the camera. Renders it useless.

I would like to see all cameras at the same time but that would be asking to much I believe. Lol v1 is a great dash and especially for the price.

Can not connect to live video
I have the V1 and as some on here mention, since the new version I’m unable to connect to live video. I can do everything else the same but at fist I was thinking here was something wrong with my dash-cam. Please fix asap.
Major app problem
App closes itself once the wifi is connected. The app is not usable anymore. The camera works great, and it would be nice to have usable software. If you call customer service, there is nobody answering the phone.
Version 1.3.1 crashes connecting to V1
As of version 1.3.1, the app crashes when attempting to connect to my V1 camera to change settings or view live video. The only thing I can do now is list and download videos stored on the device. I cannot otherwise connect to it to view live video or change settings. Everything worked fine before version 1.3.1. Please fix this problem.
