Glitchy
Most of the time this app works okay to pay the power bill. Occasionally the app is unusable because all of my account info will be missing and the app requests it over and over to no avail.
Ok app
Would be a great app if it was possible to pay or use Apple Pay or Google Pay like you can on the website đ¤ˇââď¸
Canât log in
The fields where you would enter user ID and password wonât except my entries. I finally got user ID to stick, but now I canât seem to enter the password. Itâs like the field is rejecting any entry. Useless.
App doesnât always work
The app is inconsistent. Sometimes it cannot retrieve info. It needs work.
Worst app ever
Crashes every three seconds try to view your bill it crashes try to sign in. It crashes very unstable. Need to update immediately.
Registration is the most unnecessarily asinine thing on the planet
Iâll be completely honest. Why on Godâs green earth Alabama Power thinks that filling in the registration credentials for you is a good idea when you need to type them in yourself for them to certify properly is beyond me. I sat at my laptop for 30 minutes and tried to register 8 times before I finally figured it out. Fix the auto fill now.

Cant pay bill
Since changing their debit card payment system this app isnt worth using. I have to go through my browser to handle my bill now.

Seriously, if youâre going to overcharge us for power you could at least make an app that works and makes it easier for us to pay! It wonât even load, the blue loading bar fills up at the top of the screen and then Iâm stuck staring at a white screen that says Alabama Power on the bar at the bottom and thatâs it⌠just wow! Horrible app
This app worked when I first got it, but within a month it stopped. I canât even log in to my account anymore. It says the password is wrong but when I go on the website and use it, it works. The app is broken. 0/5 stars
Worthless
This app is worthless. Canât view my bill. Tried deleting the app and reloading. Made no difference. Had to switch back to receiving a paper bill so that I can see it. People are being paid to create and maintain this app. More people being paid to not do their job.
This app is worthless. No need to even attempting to download it.
I guess Iâm going to be one of the MANY that has issues with this app. I cannot even login with my credentials yet I can sit in front of the computer and login with the same credentials.
Someone else mentioned it being just as bad as the website. I Wholeheartedly agree the website is crap also. Every time you login to pay a bill, you have to put in your account number, credit card information, etc. I think whoever built their website also slapped together this app just to give it the Alabama power name.

Actually the Worst
Couldnât even log in to the app because of such a terrible User Interface.
Easy to use
Itâs quick and easy to navigate around, it saves my bank account info so I donât have to re enter it every time I want to make a payment. Donât see why thereâs so many negative reviews.
The app/website do not work
The app is basically a mirror for the website. I tried to transfer service several times and get an error message of âunexpected error occurred. Please try again later.â Well I did several times until they closed my account when we moved. So now Iâm trying to set up new service. Same error message. Of course you canât get anyone on the phone. Donât have to be good when youâre the only game in town. Trash.

So dated
App is practically worthless. It has no Touch ID and doesnât work with Safari password manager. Using web site in Safari is easier. Update it!
Disgusting
I would give this piece of garbage app negative stars if I could. Trash app for an even more trash company. Disgraceful.
Useless with regard to outages
Enter your account info and then wait...and wait...and wait and nothing happens. Canât report an outage nor check on when power might come back on. Donât bother trying!!!
