Our stay at The Alavya
Just left today and already missing the Alavya. This is a small boutique hotel with all of the services and amenities of a larger 5 star hotel. The city and hotel are clearly well known within Turkey as a resort destination for the larger cities of Istanbul and Izmir. Coming from the US, this was the first time in Alacati and at The Alavya hotel.
Our room was a gorgeous and custom designed as each of the 14 rooms. We got to see a few rooms at the hotel. Every room is slightly different and immaculately decorated. The management and staff at Alavya have thought of everything in order to best accommodate their guests. It’s a smaller crew so after a few days you get to know the staff and see familiar friendly faces every day.
We took full advantage of all amenities including the spa, weightroom, pool, Alavya Shop, and restaurant. The traditional Turkish breakfast every morning was outstanding!!!
Alavya arranged day trips with transport to the beach, winery, and dinners. Alacati is a vibrant small resort town which comes alive in the summer with music in the evenings, shops, restaurants, and a fantastic Saturday farmers market. Alavya was the perfect location and put us in the center of the action.
This was a phenomenal 5 day stay and we look forward to getting back, and bring friends to Alacati and The Alavya!!!
