I’ve had Albert for about a year now and I’ve been taking advantage of the cash advance. It’s fast and easy with making my payback payments on time I’ve been able to up the amount of my cash advances. I even like the fact that if you have to change your repayment date, you have between 10 and 14 days to get it paid. I definitely would recommend Albert.

Avoid!! They trap your money!! Beware!
They generously offered a cash advance. I was super happy to take the offer. They then took nearly $18 in fees, so that deducted from the cash advance offer. The main problem is that by accepting a cash advance, you agree to allow them to make auto transactions. Each day, they made 3-4 transactions from my bank account, each between $7 to $88. There is NO way to stop it until you payback the cash advance in full.
It’s been over a week, and all the money they stole from my bank account is being held in their “savings” account. The money the took from my bank account is stuck in “pending” status. There is no way to withdraw the money they stole from me.
Avoid them! I’ll never use them again. And I will fight them every day until they release the money they withdrew from MY bank account!

Impossible to cancel
Took me over two months to cancel this stupid app. They make you go through literally 10+ steps and with multiple week delays while they charge the subscription fee

Deleting Account is Insane
I have NEVER had this much trouble deleting an account. How is this legal? Albert is worse than catching an STD. At least those you can get rid of.

Terrible service
I got the Albert app to use the cash advance feature needed a couple bucks to help me till pay day. They couldn’t verify my card for 5 days on the 4th day I had to email them to cancel the service the app was not accessible because they couldn’t verify my card. They still proceeded to charge me a 20$ subscription fee and wouldn’t refund the money. 0 customer service they think that AI will do all the work for them

They do a really good job astroturfing the comments with positive ones. Once you create an account, you’re unable to delete it through the app. Cancelling your subscription involves talking to an AI Chatbot that is likely intentionally slow, so you give up. Better off just contacting your bank and blocking payments. Hopefully they’ll get some recourse at some point.

I was getting ready to download this app bc I truly need a small loan just to get by for the next 3 days until I receive my direct deposit... BUT, something told me to look at the most recent ratings + reviews and holy cow!
After reading 40 one star reviews, and I searched through by looking at the most recent rather than the "best match" or whatever the default category is, there was not 1 single positive thing that was said about this app!
So I'm rating this app 1 star even though I luckily didn't have to experience the wonderful unauthorized charges that every 👏 single 👏 reviewer 👏 warned about having happened to them. But I do give a solid 5 stars to every single person that took the time to rate & review this app because you are helping new people from getting ripped off & struggling financially more than they already were!

DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT
THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY WITHOUT NOTICE, EVEN WHEN YOUR CARD IS LOCKED. THEY DONT ASK JYST TAKE AND CHARGE A RANDOM 40 dollar SUBSCRIPTION. LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCLE THE SUBSCRIPTION. SUE THEM IMMEDIATELY

I was charged 20$ this morning, I totally forgot I was enrolled in this, I used the free month trial and deleted the app because it served me no use after a week of having it, this morning I get charged 20 dollars and as I’m contacting customer service they say they can’t refund it and that even if I’m not using it I’m still going to be charged, unacceptable how I wasn’t notified a couple days prior like how most other subscriptions do, it’s unacceptable🤦♂️
