New app still has bugs
It took me 4 times to place my order. The new app wouldn’t connect to Apple Pay and kept erroring out

Hate this app
I want to check out as a guest. I do not want to make an account but then it still makes you. I had an old account and couldn’t remember my password. I requested a link two times and never got it. It took me 15 minutes to place my order.
New app is crazy bad
Holy airball on the functionality of the new app—might have to switch to a different shop. This is ridiculous.
Worse than before
I don’t know how it’s possible that this app is actually worse than it was before but it is. No option to select “forgot password” so I signed in with Apple and it still doesn’t have any of my info or past orders. I may just have to selete it because it is so clunky.
New app sucks
The update that completely changed the old app broke it. 30 minutes trying and I couldn't place an order. Fonts are ugly, menu clunky. Most importantly it's impossible to use it, it doesn't process orders.

Amazing Alfred Coffee
Fabulous vanilla lattes. Smooth, mellow caramel-like espresso. ZERO bitterness. In house syrups with true vanilla flavor instead of the overly sweet or chemical aftertaste of Monin or Torani syrups. Charming cafes are a bonus!!
Terrible UX
Keeps making me sign up for an account. I already have an account. Keeps make me sign up for an account to place my order. Because I have an account already won’t let me login. It’s just this never ending cycle that you can’t surpass on the mobile app. Trying to login. Wants you to sign up. Already ah e an account. Error message. Can’t login. Had to go to the website to order online. Just as terrible over there for their mobile website. At least I could complete the order but it was still confusing af. For a place that is so popular you guys need to step it up. It’s 2026. Come on.

Love Alfred. But….
Love Alfred. It’s the best. Wish they had a rewards system or some sorts. I go out of my way to order from them because the staff in Marina Del Rey are that amazing. (Especially the managers) but would love a reward of some sorts to work towards being so loyal. I get free daily coffee and pastry at erewhon for being a reserve member but I’ll go to Alfred in MDR instead because of the staff.

Can’t even login
The last 2 times (3 weeks apart) I tried to order it wouldn’t let me because it said I had a lunchbox account but still sends me to the sign up page each time. Lost my business multiple times.

multiple times my nearest location doesn’t appear even though I know it’s open, forcing me to delete and redownload the app. And times where it said the payment with apple pay was cancelled but when i arrived in store there were two orders of the same drink! also terrible ui too
Horrible glitch
Was rushing in the morning trying to order and it kept saying “no need to create a new account” when I was trying to log in with my phone number. Wasn’t trying to sign up. Frustrating
Sign-up
Will not let me sign up because my phone number is already active. If it is, they won’t let me sign in. So no way to sign in or create a new account. I don’t have multiple phone numbers
