Push Notifications
I love your app, but I’m having trouble with push notifications. I’m not sure if our tech person who set it up did it right but if somebody could reach out to me, that would be great.

WARNING DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
For 17 years I installed and serviced DVRs for security systems. And This is the WORST system I have ever worked on. The people who sell this steaming pile of offal are charlatans. They assured my father that he would be able to install this system effortlessly, by himself.
He doesn’t have much experience with these types of systems so he took them at their word.
Since I had experience with security camera systems he asked me to help him set it up. Unfortunately the easiest part of the process was mounting the cameras. In order to connect the camera to the DVR you have to call the rude tech support people and have them impatiently walk you through the extremely complex and convoluted process of programming and connecting the cameras. Of course, first you have to manage to convince them to help you even though you are not a dealer. It doesn’t matter that you bought the system from them. They don’t want to help you unless you are a dealer or one of their technicians.
None of the information on how to set up the cameras exists anywhere. Neither in the manual that comes with the product, nor on their website.
They lie to people and tell them they can install this system themselves just so they can sell it. Then, when the unwitting customer buys it and finds it impossible to set up themselves they have no choice but to call these frauds for technical support only to find themselves bullied into paying them even more money to have them come out and program the system.
And if anything goes wrong with your cameras, as has happened twice already in the year that this system has been up, (two of his five cameras have just died for no reason) you have to go through the whole unpleasant and stressful process again.
To anyone considering purchasing an Alibi system, save yourself an enormous amount of headache and money and buy an actual camera system.

Helped me get my system back up and running after I lost all my setting configurations!
I messed with the settings because I’m not tech savvy when I got my new cell phone and lost my passwords for my app, I accidentally deleted my system and reset it somehow.

Notifications
Please fix there are multiple reviews stating this has been an issue for over a year you cannot click on notifications unless you click something else first.
App crash’s
When I select more that 12 view pane it crashes
It won’t save my last view.

Please fix the issue with notifications
Ever since the last major update, when the app launches, you can not click on the notifications button. The button does not work until you first press on another button, like the magnifying glass, and then back out. I like to be able to access the notifications quickly. Can you please address this issue?!

Would rate 0 if I could
Consistently crashes, consistently tells you network is unstable, constant different problems happening with connection issues, slow loading, having to re add your cameras every single time you open the app. Legit the worst camera app I’ve ever used and would never recommend to anyone
Update
The newest update has been nothing but a disappointment. Every time I need to use the cameras one camera work and then after that, it tells me you’re off-line after months and months of having having these issues I had to invest in a whole other system works perfectly fine and it’s on the same network. The app tells me off-line if I’m not using the app. Cameras look great if I go into a web web browser it’s strictly an app issue.
Please also change the interface with the newest update it’s not nearly as good as the previous version. Trying to look at multiple screens at once and scrolling through them takes multiple stops going from landscape to portrait as well as other easy functions now have become longer and not user friendly.

Device Authorization banner crashes app
There is a Device Authorization banner at the top of the iPadOS app. Using X to close the banner crashes the application.

Why is it so slow?
When the app is open it looks ok but it takes 7-10 seconds to open. If there was something time sensitive you needed to see it could be gone.

New Interface is Bad
The new interface that was released two weeks ago is garbage. Not as intuitive and fluid as the old one and hard to switch between the cameras you want without a lot of scrolling.
Does ok
Other than a few glitches time to time app is decent. Only thing it really needs bad is in playback is having fast forward or fast rewind. If it had that feature I would most definitely give it 5 stars. You have to scroll on the timeline until you have to find what you are needing or just have to look it up at the actual hard drive and server.

The app does nothing but crash. If you try to view your security cameras the app will crash after two minutes. It’s even worse since I have purchased a new IPhone 14 pro (every 60 seconds). Avoid their system at all cost, unless you want to remain in the dark.

Managing the system can be challenging to a new user but the customer service team makes everything understandable
Crashes Too Much!
I wish I could love this app but it’s way too glitchy! The app literally crashes every time I go into playback mode… which renders it useless. Please fix this so that we can utilize the app better!!!
