Great way to connect anonymously with others going through the same struggles

I found Alike by accident and am I glad I did! I’ve been able to connect with other people dealing with the same conditions I have as well as review the treatments I’ve tried. I can speak candidly here, as I’m anonymous so no worries about who might read my very honest posts. I’ve been able to gather a community of people like me who really understand what having chronic conditions is like. I highly recommend this app for others who are looking for a tool that will help them feel connected and provide support and advice.

What a hidden gem!

This app is a really good place to find people who are experiencing the same health issues as you. Everyone is so kind and supportive here. It’s also a great place to gain perspective on life and how many people are in the same situation. The Alike Devs team is always trying to come up with better ways to improve the app. They are great at asking Alike users input on ways to improve. I’m an Alike user and as a member of this community we welcome all walks of life. 🫶🏽

if I could give it zero I would

This app is predatory to disabilities and long term illnesses and yes the premise is okay but this kind of environment (befriending someone by seeing their conditions and medications) and basing your decision off that is just plain wrong.

Also they reached out to a large tiktok creator
saying they’d pay them in ‘exposure’ and specified they’d have to talk about their trauma and recruit others to be ambassadors for this stupid app!

stay clear of this, find friendships and community in your own time and way this app will drag you into a spiral of wanting to be the ‘sickest’ and that isn’t what anyone needs.
