They are using AI
I’m disappointed to write this review since the overwhelming majority seem to love this app. My therapist was recording our sessions using AI and having it create exposures and exposure messages for me in real time. It didn’t feel like I was actually being listened to, because she would be visibly reading off the screen while I was talking and then would send me the AI generated exposures. If I wanted AI input I would just talk to ChatGPT and not waste my time and money on seeking actual professional help. Really disappointing, and that information was not disclosed to me until I got suspicious and asked. Aside from the dehumanizing appointments, that also seems like a HIPAA violation.
My therapist was very nice but we didn’t have concrete plans for our sessions and I felt like I was leading them. I’ve never done exposure therapy and tried to get help so that I wasn’t dealing with this myself. Also, our sessions were cut short probably 4-5 times because the THERAPIST suggested we end early.

DISGUSTING AND HORRIBLE
NOCD is the most disgusting, evil, and terrible app for OCD that exists. They put out a mainstream ad essentially claiming that health anxiety is a key defining feature of OCD, which is not at all the case for very many. This can warp professional opinions of patients with OCD, potentially harming thousands of innocent people. Furthermore, people without an understanding of OCD, such as your friends or people that you know, are going to invalidate all of your health troubles, if you actually have them, because of harmful ads like this. People with OCD are not necessarily likely to be hysterical, hypochondriacs, or to have ‘health anxiety’, the modern term for saying someone is a self absorbed idiot who is not grounded in reality. It is only somewhat vaguely connected.

Unbelievably dissatisfied
Would leave 0 stars if I could. Scheduled my intake call TWICE and no one ever called me. I called their customer service line twice. First one said “no one is in, I’ll take a message.” ?? Second one said that it must be my “service provider.” I have spam calls UNFILTERED. I have unknown callers allowed to make calls. I set EVERY SINGLE POSSIBLE SETTING to ensure this went through so I could finally get the help I very clearly need. I was offered no solution, no alternative, no help. Short of being told I was annoying them, I was dismissed beyond belief. And for a company that targets people with OCD? Predatory. Instead, it’s T-Mobile’s fault!! What a joke.

If you think you have ocd please use this app and see a therapist. I genuinely look back on my life before I figured out how to manage my life as 2 worlds. The best decision I have ever and probably will ever make in my life.
