Scam

The billing department will overcharge you and then fight you when you call them out on it

Discharged against my will and denied access after putting me in a shutdown

I’m auDHD meaning an extremely literal thinker with nearly total inability to read between the lines. But reading between the lines and guessing was all I was required to do for months. The provider put me thru the circular loops (“Why do you think that is?”, “What do you think it is?”), shocking revelations, and rapid subject changes. My questions left unanswered and my objections were overridden (“Just sign it!”). Enduring all of that effectively put me in a deep shutdown completely disabling me to do anything about therapy. So they discharged me immediately terminating even minimal support such as my ability to browse the groups. It’s been months and I’m still in agony. STAY AWAY!

I’ve never felt so seen

I’m so grateful ❤️🫶🏻 I’ve never reviewed an app before but this is the first time because this app makes me feel so seen and not so insane

Was good

When my insurance stopped covering my sessions i was not informed, i was having two sessions a week for three months and racked up a $2500 bill without knowing. Absolutely unacceptable

It is a scam

They push you to take as many sessions as possible as quickly as possible, even while waiting for insurance to be approved. Thankfully my counselor was over booked and I was only able to meet with them twice. They just read off a PowerPoint the whole time. I canceled the service and now they are trying to charge nearly a thousand dollars for my two PowerPoint lead sessions. Full blown scam. Looking to take advantage of struggling people saying insurance will cover just to rip the rug out. Plus their services are terrible even if insurance covered it.

Fraud

Bad

Grifters

They’re grifters milking the capitalist system under the guise of being faux caring pseudo-empaths. If you have any level of intuition it’s easy to see through their cornball whitebread facade. They’re in it for the money, hence why they don’t take a lot of insurance and have absurdly high co-pays. Just go on Psychology Today and find an ERP therapist there. You don’t need a corny app with watered down pop psychology features and some useless online community.

Unclear business practices

NOCD refused to give me clear pricing and would not speak to me about literally anything. Literally cannot get a response. My only option was to go into sessions not knowing how much they would cost. Even when trying to cancel they are unresponsive. Scary business!

Great tool

Is there a iPad version?

Truly has your best interest at heart

The therapist recognized that I didn’t need OCD therapy, but rather DBT and improvements in socialization skills and recommended me services to provide some or both

Stop!

Stop sending so many notifications! This is not helping someone who perseverates and is trying to get better. Otherwise, the app is a helpful resource as a reminder for upcoming sessions and a point of contact for clients and their LPCs, just take it easy on the constant reminders.

High hopes

I had only just started with this app, but it’s a perfect space to talk about your problems, get feedback and support from people with similar issues and the option for therapy if you live in the US.

Another Bad Review

Ive been picking my skin for 10 years and i turned to NOCD thinking I could get the help i needed- the first call they were quick to take my method of payment and schedule me with a therapist the following morning. The therapist was 10 minutes late, and her wifi was so bad i couldnt understand anything she was saying so she told me she wanted to reschedule for later that afternoon. She then didnt show up for the afternoon meeting so I wasted my whole day planning around that. Going to take this as my warning to no use NOCD. Take all the bad reviews seriously.

Lied too

Lied to multiple times and insurance coverage and cost and they told they don't cover it after trying to rush my appointments. D
I really think they don't about the patients it all about the money.

Confusing features

The ideas for the features are great but using them in the app is a bit confusing. Eventually I figured out how to assign the tools and such but it was a bit clunky and unclear. Great app for dealing with my OCD.

Beware Illegal and Fraudulent

I was assured that my sessions during my intake call would not exceed $200. I had to wait weeks for my billing to appear (after doing a session a week) when finally I got the bill. My 60 minute teletherapy was billed $340 for each session. I have been in different therapies for a long time and have never been billed such a high amount, especially for telehealth. This platform is a scam and money hungry, praying on vulnerable people. If you truly want help getting better stay far away from NOCD.

Phenomenal

This app is made for people with ocd by people with ocd and that is apparent. I started it yester and haven’t felt calmer in months! And it isn’t reassurance calm it’s just learning to live without reassurance. I love it sm 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Love this app!

Helping me with my anxiety and mostly ocd! They have the best therapists! They are kind and supportive but most importantly not judgmental!
