Good app, easy to navigate
Going to Ecuador for a month and downloaded this app. Seems to be a great resource. Wish the comparison mode was a bit better but overall really good. Songs with spectrograms, many languages including Spanish. Good app!
Very comprehensive field guide
Very nice app that replaces the need to lug around a 3 pound field guide and augments it with sound! It is very well organized and contains information from an authoritative source, the Helm field guide and ornithologist Robin Restall. Plus bird calls! The range maps are for all of "north South America“, so lack a bit of specificity for just Ecuador. Some features that would improve it would be to show one’s current location on the range map, and to be able to filter bird entries by current location.

Great practical guide
Day birding in the Mindo Cloud forest and great app for on the spot id loved it
So far so good.
Just got this app for a trip to Ecuador and so far, so good. It took me a little to navigate the app to find information like range maps but I like the information provided. Still learning and playing with it so I am sure I will have a more detailed review later when I really put it to use in the field.

Birds birds birds.
I like the grouping of the birds and the description for each on the same page. I would like to have actual photos of the birds included and when looking at the map, it would be better to have the entire country shown and then highlight the areas the bird could be found in. I will continue to study these birds in preparation of my trip next year.
