Contractor’s Beware
I have a verified user of this App before they renamed it to AllBetter. During this time (5-6 years), the developer has made changes that no other App requires. I paid to be verified along time ago and have a 5 Star rating from the 12-13 jobs that were completed during this time. Not only does the Developer get a percentage of the job, but now you can only message or talk to people if you subscribe to their paid service and now they want a video of you to be able to bid on jobs? It might be worth it if the job listings were legit and not friends with the developer. Then you have guys who don’t know how to bid on jobs and are looking for estimates so they know what to charge their client and are not the actual people looking to have the work done. Then to top it off, most of the people looking to have something done don’t want to pay or expect you to, for example, drive 15-20 miles to tear down soffit and facia and want to pay $40. The absolute worst part is then having your account suspended when you bring up an issue and the job lead just disappears, along with the messages between you and the client. With other Apps and services out there, this one is by far the worst. As soon as you pay for one thing so you can bid on jobs, there is something else added so you have to pay more and more. If you are a real contractor who is skilled and provides quality work, don’t waste your time and energy into this App. You will be better served using a more reputable service that is in business to make money by getting real job leads and not just trying to extract money from you.

Has Turned Into a Scam That Benefits the Developer
I have been with this app before it was renamed to AllBetter. It has only changed into a way to get money from contractors in exchange for fake leads.
1- The developers friends posts jobs and then waste your time or wants you to remodel a washroom for $500
2- The developers friends don’t pay you, you let the developer know, and then your account is suspended and it takes legal threats to get it working again…in addition to deleting the chat records or any record relating to the incident…like the job was never posted
3-You pay initially for a background check and now you have to pay to chat/call a job lead and pay a monthly fee
4-Now, they want you to put more personal information and make videos in order to get a lead and then you need to pay to chat with them. Just crazy!
5-In the 7-8 years of having this app, I have spent more than Inhave made from it and they just keep coming up with ways to get more money out of you in exchange for no real jobs!
This App should be removed and I have personally filed a complaint with the FCC and with the State of IL…especially since I met the developer in IL and know this is where it is run from.

Deposits are made within 3 business days not including holidays. Please email us immediately so we can look into this support@allbetterapp.com as long as the bank account you entered is correct funds should be deposited again with 3 business days.

This app is trash
AllBetter might be established in some areas but do they put disclaimers on the app for the areas they’re not established in? The answer is NO of course not. Instead they will gladly charge YOU a 24 dollar fee for a background check. You’ll see absolutely NO jobs daily. You’ll write a message asking “where are the jobs?” and they’ll tell you to not only try to grow your business but to help them grow their business as well LOL!! You know so you can get them jobs to give you jobs, so dumb. They should give everyone a refund on that background check in the areas they’re not working. Absolutely zero justification for this.

Not worth it, need to pay $20 to be verified to not get any leads is a waste of time. And if you do get leads it is far for low pricing. Like someone’s kitchen faucet leaking 30-50 miles away and they are willing to pay $50-75.

I downloaded the app and was cleared on the background check. But not one single job has been posted and trust me I live in Las Vegas NV and on other apps people are popping up left and right but here it’s all crickets..

I have only seen 1 job on here in the past 2 years. Not worth it
Used them a couple times was a hassle
I used them to cut the grass few times but they would cancel or not show up. They do not have good providers.. and they can charge you more after work is done…. They have no real professional service es so I would not use a plumber or electrician…
Beware this app will scam you
Not only do they not do any kind of vetting of customers or contractors they don’t keep any card on file in case a customer trys and screw you over on owed money the support is horrible they treat you as a customer instead of the actual person doing the work and they take a huge fee from the work you do so if you do a 5k repair or deck they want like 1200 of it for doing nothing but actually causing more problems don’t waste your time task rabbit is much better and legit

No wonder i only saw 3 vague leads within 3 weeks...one unrelated, one small job i completed, and the last one...well...
Their app is prowled by AI which scans every word you say, targeting anyone who says the word phone, sends a phone number to a potential client, and i'm sure a ton more.
I was suspended and lost a client because in my message to the client, i specifically told him that "i can not my phone number to you on here, so please message me when you're ready to start the work."
I was not only instantly suspended, but the confirmed lead was removed from my account.
When i "contacted customer support"...which is by email only...because there's only 2 people pretending to run the company...i was given a standard answer which came no where NEAR addressing my questions.
When i questioned that i was told "we don't need an attitude from you" and my account was deactivated.
I have also now confirmed that the $20 for the "background check" is bogus. They never did an actual background check on me.
This is more likely the way they're making whatever minimal money they are.

Took my money.
Went through the phone sign up process. Got towards the end where you pay for background check. They took the $20 for the background check and just gave me an error message that my ID was invalid. Retried taking the photo on different backgrounds and lightings and nothing worked. My drivers license is 100% valid..
So in the end, I wanted to make some money to pay bills and instead I lost $20.
