Useless
After a year of using this service I can tell you that this is the epitome of a scam. If they tell you they are coming 5 times a week and they come four, consider yourself lucky. They won’t take more than 2 bags of trash even if they hadn’t shown up in 3 days, now you have multiple bags of smelly trash then you either haul your rear down multiple flights of stairs and do their job for them while still paying them or figure where to stuff the bags. Imagine using this service as a disabled or elderly person. It’s a big slap in the face.

The app doesn’t do much, and what it used to do — send a reminder before pickup starts, stopped working a few months ago. Have deleted and reinstalled the app and it still doesn’t work. Not much use.
Terrible company
Inconsistent, lazy, money hungry people
App sucks and doesn’t work
Can’t submit complaints via the app. Useless
Better than others
I’ve been very happy with Ally waste in comparison to the other valet trash companies I’ve had at other apartments
Nice, no frills app.
Ally Waste was a bit of an esoteric concept when I first moved into my apartment complex. Why would I want to pay a monthly fee to have my trash picked up for me?
Well, it’s been almost two years and I have to say I appreciate this service now.
I still might argue it’s creating a solution for a problem that doesn’t exist for 80-90% of residents, but hey… capitalism 🥳
The app is a much needed touch for an otherwise impersonal and arguably unnecessary service that I know a lot of people aren’t huge fans of.
Give us value and see us smile 😊
Nuff said.
Edit: oh, and one thought off the top of my head. Do some canned food drives or something near the holidays. You’ve got a great setup to collect more than just “trash”.
