Would not download this app again
I’ve been using this app for over a year, and for the most part it’s been good, but over time it seems like the quality has gone down, random times when I log in it will lose all my session data, and I’ll have to wait a day or two in order to get it all back. The music collection has shrank over time to only a few genres from double that before. The in session experience I think needs to be improved, if there’s a signal issue with your device there’s an automated message that is generated which lasts 10 seconds of your session to explain what’s happening which is too long, and enough time to get you out of focus, especially if this happens multiple times through a session.

Current 1 start because I can’t use it
Bought a profile ($15.99 USD/month). When I log into the app it says “could not retrieve profile data, try again.”. When I try to connect my muse S, it finds it, and when I click on it and press “connect my muse” it says “Something went wrong. Network request failed”.
So, I haven’t been able to use the app!

Scam
This app is a scam… I’ve emailed them multiple times about the same issue that won’t allow me to use this app and have heard nothing back in 2 months. So I canceled my subscription and they still keep trying to charge me.

Game changing
I am skeptical of all new and unproven methods of building mental resilience but Alphabeats has blown me away. After a month I could tell my Muse 2 was going to be an expensive toy that would not be used after the new wore off. Training with Alphabeats has unlocked the secret levels you want from your Muse. I experience more focus, better control of my emotions and feelings and overall can tell- with data- an increase in my capacity to take stressful moments and navigate them with calm resilience. My sense of self is growing stronger thanks to the training with Alphabeats.

I am really enjoying alphabeats and although I have been using it for a short time, I can already appreciate the effects.
Where is the support?
Bought a subscription based on the promise that it would work with the Muse headset. Downloaded the app, running into problems and the only way to get any support is via email. Email sent, still waiting for a response. Very, very disappointed

Use it to focus and relax. Mostly to relax. Feedback mechanisme is clever and music selection is phenomenal.

First few sessions where amazing then…
The app has been having a lot of issues with it not storing data so it thinks every session is a new session and it’s starting to get worse because now the waves don’t sound like waves they just sound like rain now… so sad because this app helped me several times when I was feeling anxious or overwhelmed

Great concept, awful app
As a musician and a lover of meditation, this app was indeed interesting. That said, it’s really smoke and mirrors, it did not integrate properly with my Apple Watch, and when you try to cancel a subscription it doesn’t even take it to the right place. It’s a subscription options do not appear in the proper place in the phone settings, and I’m afraid this is going to lead me down a path of much frustration to get rid of the app and not be charged for it.

Not support for Apple Music
I live the idea but it’s a shame that Spotify (premium) is required. There are people like me that only use Apple music so won’t be able to use the app
