Probably the worst bank I have dealt with in my life. They only issue quarterly statements and on random dates so if you needed a re fault stament or had an emergency say for references, they will make you pay a fortune for it. The worst customer service have ever had to deal with it. Asked them to charge me but send me a statement asap, they refused saying wait five days. Absolute nightmare, might look good on paper but once you sign up, you are doomed. Can’t wait to move to another bank

I have found AlRayan Bank to be brilliant for keeping you updated with any changes in your account. The interest rate has been one of the best over the last couple of years.
Awful
Many things do not work, including most importantly transferring money to an external account! When setting up payment you cannot fill all the necessary fields due to glitches . Camera to scan QR code to get on to the desktop version when you have given up on trying their ridiculous app also does not work. Glitchy and poor user interface. I could go on. Not fit for use in 2025 and I don’t think Al Rayan even care.

Super unfriendly app
I’ve never come across such a user unfriendly app!! I have 4 accounts in uk competitor banks and 4 others in other countries, non of them has such a complicated app like Al Rayan. Web site worked almost ok, instead of putting this energy and time to make it related to 2020 you created an app which literally could have been ok probably 4 decades ago (if at all).
Also and more importantly, it’s an incredibly useless bank. By all means.

Need to modernise the app like other commercial banks.

Absolutely terrible app, unable to log in at all and the app is extremely slow even when it did used to work. Focus more on the app instead of trying to change your branding and maybe you’ll get more users. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Unable to log in again as it says authentication failed as soon as I click login button . Waste of time really. Been a client for a number of years happy with the banking services but they should give up on the App
Massively improved
This app used to be riddled with issues before, it was a real pain. But they’ve completely changed it now it does what it needs to do. The new colours are nice too, feels more modern.
Very bad app
Keep getting logged out of the app for no reason and have to redownload and start all the authentication again. Very inconvenient and happening for ages. Maybe stop changing the logo and start fixing the app!
