Used to be good
Logs you out now. When you log back in and try to arm/disarm it doesn’t work. Restart app and it tells you it lost connection. Please fix this it used to be a great app!
Terrible User Experience
This app has become incredibly frustrating to use. I constantly have to log back in just to access it, which is unacceptable for an app I rely on regularly. On top of that, it often takes several attempts for my Z-Wave devices to respond. The inconsistency makes the system unreliable and defeats the purpose of having a smart-home app in the first place.
The app needs significant improvements to reliability, login persistence, and Z-Wave device responsiveness.

I like the convenience …. But
As the title says, I like the convenience that this App offers but as some other reviewers have experienced, it doesn’t load the first time I launch it. The first time, it gives me a blank screen. I have to close the App and relaunch it before it will load. In the past, it used to do this randomly but since the last update it seems to do it every time I try to launch Alula but now it usually precedes the blank screen with the login screen although most times that goes away on its own before it is replaced by the blank screen. Occasionally, I have to type in my password before I can continue. Once I close the App and relaunch it, it loads and works as it should. This behaviour is exhibited on both my iPhone and iPad where I have the Alula App installed.

For me it’s hard to navigate. I can’t go from recording to recording easily. Maybe there’s a way— don’t know what it is
Sketchy App
Your app has continued to get more and more sketchy with each iOS update. That is until the latest update after which it will not open at all!

Log in each time?
Great app, but why do I have to login each time I use it now? Didn’t used to be like that.
Solid app, just needs HomeKit and shortcuts

Unusable after recent update
The app is continuously logging out, requires constant password log in. No notifications coming through because app won’t allow user to stay signed in. This is pitiful. Please fix this!

After the update the app never works. You literally log in and it goes straight to a black screen.

The app overall works well. Easy to use. I wish it had more automation options.
Icons wrong
Alarm status icons show the opposite of the actual alarm status constantly…very confusing!!
Latest update broke Arm Function
I can no longer arm my system with the app. Also the Stay and Away options have disappeared. I’m out-of-town and now have no idea what’s going on with my alarm system. That defeats the purpose of the system and the app.

Good but took a while to solve update
Things have been great but there was a time about 6 months ago where there was a known bug impacting zone operations. It was never communicated and ended up costing me a service call.

Spotty
Glitches a lot and when we needed troubleshooting after it stopped working the company wanted a lot of money just to come out to see what it was. Unsure why we would need to dish out so much for spotty cameras. It can pick up a car driving by across the street but won’t capture people walking up 80% of the time.

Functional app
The app works for basic info. Just wish it could do more than just the basics.
App is Horrible
I have had multiple times where the app arms and disarms on its own and have had multiple calls about whether or not they should call the police because of these false alarms. Please fix the app as soon as possible.
It’s NOT a good system
I’ve had nothing but problems from day, one of purchase from delivering it to hiring someone third-party to put it together after saying and talking to a tech to walk me through the system, but still impossible due to it been a defective system that had to go back. It’s never online. The battery goes dead really quick I can go on and on about what I do not like about this system and what I like about it…NOTHING
