Like the App

Thanks for developing the App. My mother has Alzheimer’s and I continue to look for Apps that will help her engage in meaningful activities.

As a retired special education teacher, I have one suggestion on your “Color Grid” game. The nine Letter/Number images start out in the color Gray. The prompts you’ve created tell the user to make XX Gray. This is confusing to my mother and she is not sure what to do since it’s already the color asked for. You need to consider changing the default color to something other than the color you are asking for…maybe add an additional color user has to make it instead of Gray.

Originally, our intention was to include these sorts of prompts as a way to increase complexity for the user, but we will be happy to make a change in the format to reduce confusion in our next update. Had high hopes for this app due to Alzheimer’s in the family but it is clear that the developer rolled it out before it was ready. The sounds module doesn’t work at least on my phone. The other modules were not real responsive and yes I had good internet connectivity at the time.

Thank you for downloading our app and sharing your issue. This is likely related to your wifi bandwidth. Even though you may have strong signal strength, low bandwidth could make it difficult to play songs within the app itself. As a workaround, please try using cellular data or using connections with better bandwidth. We hope this helps you.
