Thank you for the great service!
ALAnthony from L.A.
Apparently, “5:00 PM” was more of a suggestion than an appointment time.
I booked two cleaners for three hours at 5:00 PM. The company called approximately two hours beforehand to confirm my service. When I noticed only one cleaner assigned in the app, I proactively called to make sure TWO cleaners were actually coming.
This is where the customer service experience became unacceptable.
I spoke several times with Sarah, who identified herself as a manager. She assured me that two cleaners were coming and that everything would be “seamless.” She also repeatedly told me she would call me back with updates. She never did. Every time I wanted an update, I had to call the company again myself.
5:00 came. No cleaners. No call. No text. No update.
Only after I continued chasing customer service was I told one cleaner would arrive at 5:40 PM and the second at 6:30 PM, which is 90 minutes after two cleaners were supposed to begin together. Then 5:40 came, and still no cleaner.
When I ultimately tried to cancel, Michael attempted to assist me and said a manager would call me. I am still waiting for that call.
Traffic happens. Delays happen. What is unacceptable is having employees arrive up to an hour and a half late with zero proactive communication, while your customer service team repeatedly promises callbacks that never happen.
And telling a frustrated customer to have “patience and understanding” because you’re confident they’ll love the final result completely misses the point. Good cleaning does not cancel out bad business practices.
My biggest issue is not even the delay. It is the way this company operates when something goes wrong. Poor communication, inaccurate ETAs, repeated missed callbacks, and seemingly no one willing or equipped to take ownership of the situation.
If you are going to actively advertise your business, accept customers’ money, and offer scheduled services, then you also need a customer service team capable of properly supporting those services. Based on my experience, this one is not.
Extremely unprofessional and a complete disregard for a customer’s time.
UPDATE: Two weeks after posting this review, someone from the company finally reached out. They offered complimentary in-home services and also asked me to remove my review. I declined both. My review reflects my actual experience, and I believe customers deserve access to honest feedback when deciding where to spend their money. Offering me free services does not change how my original booking was handled, and I will not remove an accurate review in exchange for compensation.
