I have now been using this app for a few weeks. It’s such an improvement over the last version, which was missing a lot of functionality.
I can now do everything I need to do in this app - check balances, transact, etc.

Spend the money on real app developers
This app has so many clunky usability problems. The weird transact button and the pop-up to return home to your accounts. I don’t have the energy to explain how stupid that design is right now. But to make clear how little the creators of this app know just look at the scrolling. The scrolling overrides the system scrolling that has been a defining feature of the iPhone since the beginning.
Stop hiring people that make an app that is just a wrapper around a terrible web page. It’s so obvious this is the case because of the outrageous refresh times when you navigate anywhere in the app.
A bad app experience is an embarrassing reflection of the company and its leadership. It’s time for me to find a company that understands that and prioritizes usability in the interfaces we use to transact and make trades.

Broken App
Broken app… login and it crashed immediately without showing anything.
Garbage
Only works once then I have to delete and re download. Incredible that a company with billions of AUM can’t make a semi functional app (a low bar)
White blank screen
Every time I open the app it gets stuck on a white blank screen and I am not able to see my info. Please update the app and fix this issue.

Losing all faith in having my retirement in this. App won’t open and just shows a blank white screen. Horrible look, uneasy about storing my money here.

Same problem. Was working but last few months after logging n is blank white screen. Can’t believe they haven’t addressed this!!!!

I just set downloaded it after decades of not seeing it in the App Store. Open it and just seeing the balance, not much else. When I close it and reopen it again, it’s just a white screen. I have to delete the app and reload it to view again.

Close to 0 info included
If American century hired a team to make this app, they should hire another just to get rid of the app it’s so poor. It has close to 0 features. Just shows my account balance and that’s it. Absolutely no other info.
Looks like a software guys freshman year project. Does not show what I’m investing in, does not show history of funds, does not show deposits, withdrawals, NOTHING. I’m convinced someone somewhere said they had to have an app so they made the absolute cheapest, bare bones, excuse for an app they could think of.

Terrible App
Out of all the financial apps I use, this is by far the worst. Rarely works properly, and when it does, it’s slow and takes forever to make an investment. Unfortunately American Century doesn’t seem to have any interest in fixing this long standing problem.
