Useless clunky and time wasting
Amex should be proud of delivering one of the most unfriendly, diabolical, impossible to use or log into app ever crafted.

Beyond terrible service
Over the last year Amex GBT has been consistently useless and unhelpful every time that I have needed help with travel. Genuinely worse than using no travel service at all.
Crashes before I can use it.
Every time I try to use it, it crashes springboard. Somehow I managed to get it to work exactly one time and I was able to book a flight. Nobody else on my team could because the website is just as bad.
Login Field Not Able to be filled in
Unable to log in as no keyboard is available when I select the login email field.
App down
App was down again so had to call and waste 45 minutes of my day with incompetent travel agents per usual. GBT has gone downhill and wish our corp would switch

Worst app ever, can’t do anything in it and online agents useless. Similar to their phone service, horrible experience
Worthless company worthless app
Amex is useless. They don’t know travel rules, lie to you constantly while trying to delay tickets so the class you’re entitled to is sold out. The chat function is awful and constantly just closes.
Can’t even register
I can’t get past the first part to register so can’t wait to see how the other part of the app works !!!
Too complicated and unhelpful if you need help in real time
Too complicated as a travel manager. Multiple platforms that doesn’t work well with each other. if you need help real time they are very hard to reach. And if in the lucky chance they answer, 90% chance they couldn’t help you anyway. If you need to cancel a travel, you will need to cancel on different platforms. Also have a bug that couldn’t see some part of my travel reservations.

Unable to type password
The app leads one down the logon path, automatically loading my company email address as my username. Then I have the option of entering a code from an email or entering a password. Selecting either option, THE APP DOES NOT PRODUCE A DIGITAL KEYBOARD WITH WHICH TO ENTER THE INFORMATION. Impossible to log on. I deleted and re-installed the APP and same result. I wish my company had not chosen this company for our corporate travel.

It’s complicated!
This application/platform was hard to set up and use as a travel manager. There are multiple platforms with multiple names, multiple mobile apps with multiple names that do different things. There’s a live chat, where no one actually really answers. There are no phone numbers to talk to a real person about tech set up. What you get is a harried travel counselor who clearly now has to also answer technical questions. When you email the helpline, they email you the same instructions that already don’t work for you. Note the number of questions on the app page Q&A about how to reach a real person for customer service. This is not working for me. The UX is not acceptable.

Unbelievably Bad
You will try to chat with them and then they will close your chat for inactivity before they even respond to you - literal doom loop

I updated when promoted by the app and now I’m in an infinite loop where I can no longer work in. Avoid update 5.35.0
Moderately Useful
Expected much more from Amex, but the app is very slow to update bookings and changes in flight status. This makes it very unreliable for real time updates and information.
Sign in
You can’t stay signed in permanently. Have to sign in all the time. Just a hassle.

Login is Rediculous
The login process is beyond ridiculous. Got to the LOGIN verification page and requested a verification number. Apparently the system doesn’t really care if you’re needing immediate assistance with a travel issue because you’re not going to get an immediate response for an email verification. Don’t even try to find a phone number to maybe talk to someone because they don’t exist. So much for “customer service “

When using agent chat function the app does not have notifications when new messages arrive.
