Charging for everything now.
I believe that all those who were able to access everything prior to charging, should be grandfathered in. We should not have to pay such high prices for what we originally received at no cost. I should not especially be charged to see my family members tree. I hardly ever come to this app because I can’t access anything. I live on a fixed income and now cannot afford to finish my family research.

So they made a new update where it is impossible for free to play players I got I clicked on the hint it was a photo and usually they show us photo hints but noooo it just sends me right to getting a free trial

Very good app. Haven’t tried loading photos yet. Don’t know if one can. Don’t know whether minor children and their data is viewable to others who have access, but not the author of the data.
The app is almost as good as the original ancestry.com . Quite difficult and counter intuitive as to how to switch from my tree to my wife’s tree.

How can a company not provide a method to update the app version as the web version of my tree, BS.

Look…we paid a lot to do DNA testing. Pay walling access to ANY related perks of having ALREADY done the DNA…is greedy…plain and simple. It’s time to be part of expense relief efforts in this country. Lower your subscription rates or do away with them all together. Make your money…just do so with class and fairness.

Like to take functionality away
I like the app and use it frequently. They keep putting more and more functionality that used to be free behind a paywall. It’s always great when a company continually shows you how greedy they are. Gotta keep the Blackstone happy before the users. Typical behavior exhibited by private equity firms these days. Completely unnecessary and frustrating.

No easy way to correct all of your mistakes. You have the parents of my brother’s first wife as the parents of his second wife. I give up. Im 81 and dont have enough time to figure this out.

I understand prices have to increase, but to jump so high and make it a family plan is unacceptable to some of us who don’t have family that’s interested in genealogy. I had the all access before and have recently had to downgrade due to finances. I do not like not having access to newspapers like I had before. there need to be more options available for single users.
