Site provides insight into past and current influences on my family. Very useful to understand who we are based on family history.
Terribly overpriced and underserved
$40 per month and when you cancel you’re unable to access information you’ve already paid for? This is ridiculous.

My brother almost got a job with Ancestry.com because he is working and studying genetics/DNA. he is considering it to my mom to use it

My app constantly glitches and when I try to add people it glitches out and won’t let me

Easy to use, neat and compact. I have been using Ancestry for a number of years and still get surprised!

Hard to change wrong information
Changing wrong information is impossible. And I never got my DNA information.

Ancestry, with their many updates of data have made it so easy to build trees now, & fill them out with facts that would have taken you years to find, the old way that we used to do it, before computers!

It’s okay…
Just not really understanding why public member trees are not available to view on the app. Navigating around the tree can also be pretty glitchy. Otherwise it works fine. Overall it’s an app that I’ll use, but I’m just a bit disappointed that some pretty significant functionality like that isn’t available on the app.

Too expensive
It’s a great idea, but just too expensive for. A regular subscription as a passive user
DNA missing
I bought a DNA kit and submitted it, but I don’t see it in my account. I received the results in 10/25.
Why?
Apps great but why do you need to subscribe to see everything and it’s not cheap!
inaccessible App for the blind
this app is one of the most inaccessible for the visually impaired I have ever had to deal with
Ancestry Lost me as my Tree Owner and my DNA
How can Ancestry mess up so badly? I am the tree owner, but now, after 1500+ people on my tree, they lose my DNA AND ME. I AM NO LONGER ON MY TREE that I created??? Wow!
