About

Name what you feel. Understand why. Bring it to your next session. Anchored is an anxiety journal built around two tools therapists already use: a wheel of emotions and a CBT-style check-in. Whether you're in therapy or working through things independently, it meets you where you are. NAME IT ON THE WHEEL Drag Pebble out from the centre. The direction selects the emotion, while the distance shows its intensity. Choose from 24 feelings and three levels of intensity, with a genuinely neutral centre for days that are simply fine. Most trackers give you five faces. But apprehensive, afraid and terrified do not describe the same kind of day. Anchored lets you record the difference. WORK THROUGH IT After choosing a feeling, complete a short CBT-style check-in: what triggered it, where you notice it in your body and one thought you want to record. It takes about two minutes, so you never have to face a blank page at 11pm. YOUR MONTH, IN COLOUR Every check-in appears on your calendar. The colour represents the feeling, its size shows the intensity and a ring marks the days you practised. Tap any day to revisit what happened and what you wrote. It gives you something concrete to open when someone asks how the last two weeks actually went and you cannot quite remember. SUPPORT FOR DIFFICULT MOMENTS Anchored keeps practical tools close when emotions spike: - A full-screen breathing exercise using a 4-4-6 rhythm - The 5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique - A toolkit of 23 practices for immediate and longer-term support - Guided audio exercises - A late-night wind-down - 18 plain-language guides A ONE-TAP ANCHOR ON YOUR HOME SCREEN Add the widget to place the breathing exercise one tap from your Home Screen. There is no need to search for the app when you need it most. SEE WHAT HELPS Anchored records which exercises you found helpful. With Apple Health, it can also show your heart rate before and after a session. Your readings remain on your device. WHY ANCHORED - Warm rather than clinical - Built for difficult moments and longer-term reflection - Private, with no account required to get started - Calm by design, with soft colours and gentle motion Anchored is an educational and self-help wellness app. It does not diagnose or treat any condition and is not a substitute for professional care. Anchored is free to start. Breathing and grounding exercises, the crisis toolkit, the Home Screen widget and your first 14 days of check-ins are included. Anchored Premium unlocks unlimited check-ins, your complete calendar history and the full collection of practices, guides and audio journeys. Terms of Service (EULA): https://useanchored.com/terms/

What's New in Anchored

1.3.0

September 6, 2026

The biggest update since launch. Anchored is now an anxiety journal. NAME WHAT YOU FEEL A new check-in built on Plutchik's wheel of emotions. Drag Pebble out from the centre: the direction selects the emotion, while the distance shows how strongly you feel it. Choose from 24 feelings and three levels of intensity, with a genuinely neutral centre for days that are simply fine. THEN WORK THROUGH IT A short CBT-style check-in follows the feeling: what triggered it, where you notice it in your body and one thought, if you have one. Two minutes, not a blank page. YOUR MONTH, IN COLOUR The calendar has been rebuilt. Every check-in appears on it: colour represents the feeling, size shows its intensity and a ring marks the days you practised. Tap any day to revisit what happened and what you wrote. It is the thing to open when someone asks how the last two weeks actually went. ALSO NEW - "Surprise me" sends one gentle prompt each day at an unexpected time. Opt in from Settings. - Sound controls are now in one place. - A completely rewritten first-run experience. Everything for difficult moments is still here: 4-4-6 breathing with Pebble, 5-4-3-2-1 grounding, the toolkit and the Home Screen widget. ABOUT THE FREE VERSION Check-ins are free for your first 14 days, and the calendar includes one month of history. Breathing, grounding, the crisis toolkit and the widget remain free.
