One of the worst app for buying ticket
Wanted to top up my card it’s goes in loop after register the card saying you have 4 mins to finish the purchase, then it let me repeat all again without complete the payment. So bad.

This app is terrible and sloppy, it also didn’t work with my card. Useless.
No auto fill?!
Not entirely useless but very inconvenient. Unintuitive interface and payment doesn’t support Apple Pay or auto fill for credit card details. Come on Porto! Invest a little more to make this useful!
Shame they call it an app.. 99% you get errors.
It pretended to be an app where you can load titles but 99% I get errors and no explanation why. Maybe it’s time to change the dev team. It can’t be that there is zero QA. So disappointing that in 2026 they can’t have a simple app to load titles.

the app is somewhat limited. in the past, i was charged for a couple of trips that never got registered to the andante card. it’s also quite frustrating that we can’t use the app as a replacement for the card itself.
on top of that, after all these years, i wish we could top up using apple pay: this would feel safer and much quicker to use.

Traps money
Fails when transferring money to the card. I attempted to load the card; it read the card ok, and accepted the mbway payment. Now, there’s a pending operation on the app. Trying to write to the card, it repeatedly fails with a ‘Error: internal error: send request’. So now my money is trapped in the app and cannot be used to load the card. Awful experience.

Carregamos os andantes na APP mas o saldo não entra no cartão.
Good for seeing how many titles are on a card - and that’s about it…
In theory, I really like Anda. In practice, I have found that it mostly sulks when you try to add value to a card and then says that there is a pending operation. Once it gets itself into this state there doesn’t seem to be any way of solving the problem within the app; you will either have to call customer service, or go to a ticket counter (good luck on that - there are very few of those).
I wish it were less fragile, but it really is. A shame - great idea, but the execution is poor.

What’s the point of this app?
To charge a paper (NFC) card ? Why can the app not replace the card? After all the phone can read the card so it should be able to communicate with the terminal as well. The charging of cards is not working properly and the need to provide repeatedly the card information makes it look like an amateur school project.

Does not work at all
The app can’t read valid Porto metro transport cards

What could be a very convenient app is actually a stressful mess of an attempt. Keeps giving errors 8/10 times and actually charged me for many trip buying attempts which then wouldn’t appear on my andante and made it “invalid”. I was forced to go speak to customer service as even when I charged yet another trip in a machine, when validating ahead of trip it kept saying error. All around terrible and made me lose a metro to the airport and my temper.

App works as advertised. I was able to load money into my Andante card. Just wish I could use the app as the actual card. I’m sure eventually 👍
Does not work
I bought a ticket but the app does not write to the card. I lost 14 euros doing this.
Barely functional
It would be better if it didn’t work at all. As it is, I’ve got 11 tickets on this app that won’t transfer over to my card. Every time I try, I get some variation of an error message. I paid for these tickets a week ago, but can’t use them.
Doesn’t work half the time
Not a friendly app, very poor UX, doesn’t work half the time for non-obvious reasons. Paid for trips I’m unable to load onto the card.
