Nothing perfect and Angi too…
They are selling leads to us Handyman’s. Each lead starts from $25+ only for cellphone number. That’s not guaranteed that task owner will answer your call even in one minute after post. So it gives you double charge for working lead. It was tested by me with same type two-three hours tasks in my case furniture assembly. Was taken 14 leads during three days. Conversion 4/14 answered. All 4 jobs was done in the same day (2-5 hours jobs). Also 4 customers still not provided their information. In total I was charged for 10 leads. For better understanding why furniture assembly like test group. This type of customers have pretty small budget, have no time, have no equipment and experience… so they are hot and ready to commute on each platform. But not on Angi. In total - EVERY SECOND lead UNAVAILABLE.
In addition. By the initiative of Angi was scheduled call with representative in the morning. Was waiting for two hours. No call. Angi rating now July 2026 is 3,9*.

Scam app
This app has stole almost 1000 dollars from me I accept leads then the person is completely fake you can’t cancel after they just ask for an estimate and your stuck with a 90 dollar lead fee it’s a scam and false advertising every ad I see for this app is promising actual response but all they do is take your money and I can’t even cancel my account because there webpage doesn’t exist

I’ve been 3 month with this app and from the very beginning was suffering with the configuration and you have to call them to change every single thing, you can’t respond to the reviews, the costumers can change the reviews whenever they want doesn’t matter if they gave you 5 star an then decide give you 1 and you can do nothing, my friends pros, there’re a lot of better apps than this one, don’t loose your money with this people

Angie’s is okay at best yes they send you a decent amount of lead but if I receive 10 lead only 3 of them actually answer the phone it is extremely frustrating to spend so much money to buy leads for people who don’t actually want the service they requested

Good service as long as you keep on the site and be sure to turn on and turn off leads. You can feel out the description of work requested.
SCAM
I started an account and they charged me $220 just to start the account and told me I would be able to choose my leads from there. They are misleading and liars. I’ve been charged for leads that have nothing to do with my scope of work and they charge you just to send you a random number from anyone off the street who can signup. The people they sent were asking for free work and to do a different job that has nothing to do with what I offer. I asked for a refund and was told that is impossible and your leads are based on advertising???? I thought that was the point of ANGI to advertise for you! Such a waste of money $300 down the drain an $0 made run while you can!

Could be better. If they didn’t spike competition between us competing, then charge us for it. I would consider giving them better feedback. Until then? 3 stars seems fair since it’s my only complaint. Also. The contractors like to use this site against each other. You really need to vet your leads.

Angi is terrible
I’m a business owner for a roofing company and the app has been terrible. Most people don’t even respond. You can pause leads and it doesn’t even remind you when it unpauses. I went to test it out lead by lead based because when you set up an account hey do it by a yearly contract like 400-500$ a month for a roofing company. Each company is different. The salesman was trying to be slick my not mentioning it until I asked. They will not give any information until you ask for clarification. They just want money and not build a good and honest community. Like I said before the customers don’t even respond. Also if you do lead to lead charges it’ll automatically charge you. It won’t even ask you to accept the job or not and that’s what the rep told me. All and all this is app is very misleading and it a really bad atmosphere for you business. It submits you to do what they want you to do because they give your leads to your competitors and you have to annoy the customer. Most of them don’t even respond. This is a terrible app. Don’t use it. If you are still curious. Ask them questions they will not tell you . They just want your money

Bad experience this app sucks
This app sucks they steal money from people. I never had any good leads. All customer had already some one contact them for a quote and the app still send me customer that wanted my service I would contact them and they had the job done already and angis list would charge me for it. I decide to close the account and they still keep charging fees I don’t recommend this app and will definitely never use it again

Trash fake leads
Half the leads I get are fake none of them have a real voice mail and don’t answer a text or call back also the description of work needing to be done is clearly AI only 1 out of 20 were real in the last month. Just a huge waste of money and a scam I used to get decent leads but now all of them seem blatantly fake

Pague la membresia de 1000$ al mes, me llegaron 30 leads ( clientes ) solo 2 aceptaron mi trabajo, los otros son gente curiosa, gente buscando como engañar mediante de enlaces, incluso gente solicitqndo trabajos minimos como limpiar un simple piso queriendo pagar menos de 100$, esta app es muy desordenada te mandan cualquier tipo de cliente no tiene filtro, uso thumbtack y me va mejor, esa app si tiene filtro para todo

I am very disappointed with this app and the way the company handles new contractors.
I simply wanted to open a Pros account with the opportunity-based option, but instead I was repeatedly transferred to the sales team. I spoke with three different representatives, and none of them would help me create the type of account I wanted. Every conversation turned into a sales pitch for a $280 subscription.
There should be a choice. Contractors should be able to decide how they want to receive leads instead of being pressured into an expensive monthly plan. I don’t appreciate being forced to talk to a salesperson just to create an account.
It feels like the company is more interested in selling subscriptions than helping professionals use the platform in the way that works best for them. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing.

Misleading Leads & Unfair Cancellation Fee
I had a terrible experience with Angi for Pros. I purchased approximately 25 leads and only ended up having real conversations with maybe 3 people.
The one customer I actually completed a service call for told me he had already spoken with around 20 contractors before I even contacted him. That tells me these leads are being blasted out to countless companies at the same time, making them extremely low quality and almost impossible to convert.
I spent time and money chasing leads that had already been contacted by numerous contractors, and the return on investment was terrible.
To make matters worse, after deciding the service wasn’t worth continuing, Angi is now trying to charge me a $4,000 cancellation fee. Charging thousands of dollars to cancel a service that failed to deliver quality leads is unacceptable.
If you’re a contractor looking to grow your business, be very cautious. My experience was that the leads were oversold, the conversion rate was extremely poor, and the cancellation terms were far more expensive than expected. I would not recommend this service based on my experience.

I hate this app
I used this app and had a very frustrating experience. They called me multiple times and pressured me into providing my credit card information. I clearly stated that I did NOT authorize any charges until I had time to properly evaluate whether I wanted to work with the platform. Despite that, they went ahead and charged me anyway.
It was extremely difficult to get my money back, and the whole process was stressful and time-consuming.
On top of that, even after deactivating my account and deleting my profile, my page still appears on Google when I search for my name and my company. I have contacted them several times about this, but they are very resistant to removing my profile and claim it’s not something they can do — which is not true, since the profile is directly linked to their platform.
Overall, it has been very difficult to fully disconnect from them. I do not recommend this service unless you want to be tied to them long-term.
