My store for years
Anthro has unique items including clothing, furnishings, shoes, kitchen dishes and bedding. I have been adding to all such unique pieces for years. The purchases make me happy because they are a statement of style separate from the usual.
App
I have multiple retail apps on my phone. Anthropologie by far renders the best user experience. So easy to filter down to exactly what I’m looking for. The reviews really help with form my decisions. Multiple photos of each item are also a great help.

My Favorite Place to Shop!
I’ve really been enjoying Anthropologie of late. Yes it can be pricey at times but I feel it’s worth it because I’m finding such interesting,unique pieces. Try it you’ll like it!

Is the advertising legal ?
Promised 10% discount on signing up in May in exchange for receiving marketing from them. Lots of emails. 10% discount never materialised. AI “help desk” useless.
Overcharges for sales tax
All my shopping is online and Anthropologie charges a sales tax above what anyone else does. I do not live in Boulder but they charge me Boulder sales tax

The best of all worlds is speaking with a well informed agent or representative— chat bots and ai help are far less satisfactory.

I love the Anthro app—it's user-friendly, clean, and generally very easy to navigate. However, there is one major flaw in the search function that desperately needs to be fixed on both the app and desktop site.
Often, if I am looking for a specific item, color, or style that I know was recently available, it completely vanishes from the main search results. I’ve discovered that once an item transitions to the sale section, the main search bar stops pulling it up. I have to manually go into the Sale tab and dig for it there to find it.
As an avid Anthro shopper, this is incredibly frustrating. If a customer is searching for a specific item by name, the app should show it regardless of whether it’s full-price or markdown. I wonder how many sales Anthropologie is missing out on simply because customers assume an item is sold out when it’s actually just hiding in clearance. Fixing this unified search would make the shopping experience perfect!

Inaccurate order details
I received a damaged item and the app states that I have not received it yet. I did the virtual (ai) assistant and it was a waste of time. I then called cs and was told that I would receive an email asking for pictures for a replacement, that hasn’t happened either. At this price point this shouldn’t be an issue. Do better!

A tried and true favorite with one adjustment needed
The Anthropologie app has been one of, if not my most, used shopping app of all time. It's easy to navigate, always up to date, and full of my favorite things! My single gripe with this app comes from the lack of visual settings. If the Anthropologie app had a dark mode, it would be the easiest and most deserved 5 star shopping app in all of the App Store. Anthro, PLEASE consider adding a dark or night mode for those of us who deal with photophobia. It would truly bring an already very loyal customer to the checkout button far more often.
