I have used AOL as my main mailbox for 28 years. We have gone thru a number of issues but I still like how it works.
My only issue with AOL is that they don’t have an App for my Mac and I have to use another company to capture my emails on that desktop.

I haven’t had a complaint to this day. Been with AOL for many years !

Been using for many years and am always more than satisfied with AOL’s maintenance of their product and ease of use.
Harassing
How are you going to violate the notifications that I set? Don’t need to hear about Harry in the UK when I’m expecting something important.
Inappropriate Adds and news
I am very happy and appreciative with my AOL mail service.
However I don’t appreciate the inappropriate Temu ads.
Same with the news.
Every day you promote objectification of women which can and is being viewed as Pornography.
We live in such sexually charged environment that promotes sex trafficking, rape and disconnection from spouse, kids and family.
I wish you would consider the negative impact you have.

I love my AOL
I have had my account for years and never had a problem. I always use it. And people say to me, "You still use AOL?" and I say, "Yes, why fix something that’s not broken?"

UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE
AOL Tried to charge my card 40 days AFTER i have cancelled my membership.. completely unacceptable.. will be deleting anything linked to AOL.
The app continues to load my spam folder with ridiculous amount of junk
I pay for AOL, my yahoo mail never allows spam in, do better AOL. STOP deleting my reviews and fix the AOL app
Ad covers entire app
Ad now cover the entire screen preventing me from viewing emails with no way to dismiss the ad.
Have already placed a one star review, why has that been deleted?

Some good news, the adverts stopped a few months ago so i haven't updated the App in since, why would i want to restore the adverts?

INADEQUATE SUPPORT OF EMAIL ATTACKS!!! Time to quit AOL completely. Others do it better.
There has to be a way to block entire domains rather than email address 1 at a time to 1000!!! The flood of hundreds of BS Spam in just one hour is ridiculous!! AOL DOES. NOTHING. If you only allow contacts well that just won’t work with every new purchase and merchant you want to do business with. JOKE!!! These bots create hundreds and thousands of junk email addresses from the same domains OVER AND OVER AND OVER!!! 1000 blocked fills up in DAYS!!! Blocking all not on contact list is ridiculous since you buy and do business with new relationships all the time. THIS SVC JUST FREAKING SUCKS!!!

Spam filters need improvement. Current spam filters do not filter obvious spam emails that contain vulgar sexual topics.
App Runs Slow and Lags for Some Reasons
I’ve never had a problem with the AOL Email app ever before until now for some reason. The app runs slow and lags now for some reason, AND DESPITE having good internet coverage and the rest of my internet (ie. My cell phone, my laptop, my Roku and streaming apps, etc.) running sufficiently. Not sure what AOL did to cause this, but I’m not happy about it as it’s a real inconvenience.
