You cannot import on local!
What’s the point of these apps if you have to use servers to do everything??? This app could be great, but you can’t even restore or import a backup without using servers! Servers that have limits and tbh literally defeats the point if you can’t even transfer without needing internet… super disappointing bc I really thought this would be a better alternative to affine which does the same thing!!! It’s still better, but if you can’t import locally it’s honestly all for naught imo.

So like I was looking for an aesthetic note taking app like notion, and ChatGPT recommended this app. Mobile version is not compatible on my desktop, so I used the desk top version and oomagaud! Soooo amazing! My note taking apps have never been this unlimited ( unlike a bunch of stupid subscription apps)

Best option for self hosting for projects and organization
Before we started this we didn’t have a good system for collaboration on projects. Now app flowy solved this. We use it for our international business and project management
Please flush out mobile experience
The desktop and web app are great alternatives to Notion. The past few weeks have been easier for planning and quick note-taking.
Unfortunately, the iPad has not yet been given justice. A similar experience to the Mac app will solidify this platform for me. Block editing and reorganizing is overall quite clunky on the mobile applications as well. I am happy with the direction this project is heading in.

Love self hosting
Love that you can run a docker self hosted version of app flows cloud and also use the mobile app. Wish I could use my ollama instance to help revise my documents inline.
