Amazing Customer Service
I had a great experience with Apple Taxi. The drivers are very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the local area. One of the drivers even spoke in detail about how Apple Taxi is exploring AI implementation and the real-world challenges they face from a customer perspective. It was an interesting and insightful conversation that showed how forward-thinking the company is while still keeping customer experience at the centre. Highly recommended.

Apple Taxi App
Sometimes booking a taxi for later pickups. The app will look for available drivers at the actual time of pickup not when you do the booking!
Awful
Booked a taxi 3 times now the night before and every single time it does not come. This is really bad service as I have booked over 12 hrs before and I have connecting journeys which have been missed because of your awful service. Will be using and recommend Frankie’s taxi service always on time and they don’t lie!!

Latest experience with App …2 taxis cancelled and had to wait near on 40 minutes. Thankfully Artur arrived to resume my faith.

Payment issues
Tried about 4 times to book and pay for a taxi, but the payment failed continuously via Apple Pay as well as Stripe, using multiple cards. Clearly a technical issue. I've had to book elsewhere.
Since code upgrade unusable!
I’ve used this app for years and previously gave it 5 stars but since the upgrade where a code is supposed to be sent to my phone it hasn’t worked at all! I have been unable to use the app at all to pre-book taxis! Very disappointed!
abusive drivers and broken app
i cancelled a taxi i prebooked in the app but the driver still showed up outside my house. when i tried to explain that the ride had been cancelled the day before he got really abusive and started shouting at me - as a woman it made me feel very unsafe and i will go out of my way to avoid using this company going further. they also randomly charged my card 3 days ago which i will dispute with my bank.

Seems to have stopped working
Been a while since I last used this, but it now seems to get stuck on a page at the start where it says it is going to send a validation code to my phone. Can’t progress beyond this, so the app is unusable.

Constant spam notifications
App functions fine, but I’m receiving constant marketing notifications despite not having the option selected. Did not sign up for this constant spam.
Marketing messages without consent
I have not subscribed to receiving pop-up marketing messages but keep getting sales/marketing notifications. I have reported this by phone as well as by email. There is no way to turn this off (can only turn off all notifications but wouldn’t get messages about taxis arriving). I don’t believe this is lawful or allowed. Not sure where to report this but will escalate soon.

App keeps popping up notifications, yet there is never anything to see when it’s opened.
Spam-laden and not fit for purpose
Despite unticking the marketing notifications weeks ago in the app, I’m still being spammed.
The app is rarely useful even when used. Can’t tip so I have to make sure I have loose change. Can’t get a useable receipt attributed to Apple Taxis so I still have to ask for a written receipt.
Can’t book half the time so end up having to call.

Rude driver
Simply because I told your driver, she is passing the wrong way, she started screaming at me that I can’t teach her job, she’s so rude, telling me I was on call and I am directly her, she needs more customers ethics pls
Easy to the Airport
It’s 2:30 AM and we’re on the way to the airport, Apple taxis made it so easy and affordable thanks for a fantastic start to our holiday.

Taxi arrived on time, app was easy to use and the fare was reasonable. The bad rating is down to the driver. Didn’t speak, unhelpful when I wanted to book a return and a VERY bad driver! Nearly had an accident!
