The system works fine..

Hello, we are working on lowering the minimum top-up amount. At the moment, this amount exists so that the transaction costs with the payment providers are lower and therefore the wash price for the user is also lower. If you delete your account after your stay, you will of course get the remaining credit back. Best regards, Team appWash!
Broken App
Pratique et réactif
Au début il y avait des décalages et des bugs mais ça fait plaisir de voir qu’ils ont été corrigés au fur et à mesure

Hello, thank you very much for your feedback. We are happy that you like the app so much. Best regards, Team appWash!
Took money without drying clothes
Also, the app is clunky and slow. Every time I do anything on the app it takes time to load. I dislike having to bring my phone with me when I do laundry. Frankly, I don’t know why app controlled laundry has to exist at all. 1 star because I can’t give 0.

Hi, we can understand that you want your money back as soon as possible if a wash cycle doesn't work. However, you should also understand that we first want to understand what exactly happened before we unjustifiably "give money away". If the reason is justified, you will of course always get your money back. Best regards, Team appWash!
Se quedaron con el dinero de un servicio que nunca se activó
AppWash in Rome!
The cost was EUR 3.50 for a wash cycle and EUR 2.00 for drying. The app accepts several payment methods, including Apple Pay. If you have a remaining balance after use, you can request a refund and the money is returned to your original payment method.
PS: if you experience a problem with the machines and there is no local support at the hotel you are doomed.

Horrible experience
Response from developer
Hello, sometimes the network connection in the laundry room is temporarily so bad that the machines do not start. This is not the fault of the app. If you have already paid before and don't get any service in return, contact our support using the built-in chat function, describe the situation and get your money back. Best regards, Team appWash!
nothing works…
Response from developer
Hi, we’re really sorry to hear about your experience, that’s definitely not the level of reliability we aim to provide. If a dryer doesn’t fully dry, it can sometimes be related to load size or filters needing cleaning. For best results, we recommend filling the dryer to a maximum of around 70% capacity. That said, the machine should always complete its full cycle properly. If a machine stops mid-cycle or doesn’t perform as expected, please report it directly in the app with the machine number so we can investigate quickly. Of course, if a machine doesn’t work properly, we will refund the amount. Best regards, Team appWash!
1 washing = 4 dryers

Hello, thank you very much for your feedback. Unfortunately, due to inflation, we also had to increase our prices a bit. Best regards, Team appWash!
dryer doesn’t work!
Easy to use, easy to get balance back!
I used this in a hotel in Copenhagen and it was really easy. Add money to the app, select your machine in the app, select your program on the machine and then press start. It couldn’t be easier! You even get an email to say when you’re washing is ready.

Hello, thank you very much for your feedback. Please note that we are not the owners of the machines at every location. In some cases, the cleaning and servicing are carried out by the landlord or a third-party provider, while we are responsible only for the billing process. We appreciate your understanding. Best regards, Team appWash!

Do your laundry somewhere else.
Come on people, seriously?
I am not saying there’s anything specifically wrong with this app, which a better app might improve upon (though to be fair, I’ve been “running a machine” for 20 minutes, and nothing has happened). I’m saying entire concept is ridiculous.
What motivations did these people have, to come up with a tech-based “solution” to something that was never a problem in the first place? What start-up grant, funded by which taxpayers, was allocated for the sake of leaving me here in this hospital-lit hostel laundry room, with the fate of my socks depending on how efficiently “laundry support” can respond to my in-app message? Are we doomed forever—by some inexorable law of capital/history—to languish beneath the idiotic maxim of “If you CAN make something controlled by an app (which I, still sockless, remain unconvinced of in this case), you SHOULD?” These are the things I have time to wonder about, as I await a response from laundry support.
In conclusion: does the app wash your clothes? In my experience, no. But does the app raise several morbidly fascinating questions about the state and direction of modern capitalism? Certainly. For that, I give it 2 (instead of 0) stars.

Bad app
Response from developer
Hello, please note that the dryers do not have a fixed program duration, but adapt to the residual moisture of the laundry. The runtime displayed at the beginning is only the average of the previously run programs. Therefore, deviations from the indicated runtime may occur - this is adjusted especially in the first minutes of the drying cycle. Please write to us about the Top-up problem at support@appwash.com. Best regards, Team appWash!
