Latest app mission features
I’ve been using Aranet for years for home automation and this latest update does some great things including periodic updates.
But there is an oversight in it that is making this one painful to use.
When I tap on temperature from the main page the screen goes to temp and updates it - this works fine.
Bit then when I switch to humidity there is a big gap of data.
Please bring back the manual update in the individual items so I don’t have to go back to the home page, click update, then go back to the data I want to see.

The new redesigned app looks great
I like the new dark theme of the app. It matches my iPhone theme. The UX is more polished than the previous version.
The new app update is a downgrade
I’ve been using the app for several years. It was quick and easy to get information from the sensors. The new update ruined all that. Some of the data, such as temperature or humidity is so small that I can’t read it. There doesn’t seem to be any way to zoom in. Even when you open just that feature, it’s really difficult to read. The previous app layout wasn’t like that. I shouldn’t have to use a magnifying glass to read data on my phone.

App needs to respond to device dark mode
Crazy that it blinds you if you check it at night. Devs need to stop spending time on adverts and fix this. Sure you can make full screen dark but how about the main app that you need to use to get there.

I love the simple product and simple app. It does the job I want, which is monitoring CO2..

However I would prefer if historical stats were in the app in the background so I can look them up without waiting for connection

Average app and average device hardly measures sometimes freezes brand new batteries nothing happens poor unit

Solid app
Most apps for IoT are botched, this one is solid. The product connects every time, the data is received fast and pairing is super simple. Well done. Others should learn from this implementation.
Excellent outil mais application limitée
L’appareil semble très précis mais l’application n’affiche pas aisément les résultats au delà de 7 jours. Il serait apprécié d’avoir un visuel de 1 mois et 3 mois. Aussi, il n’est pas évident d’utiliser l’appareil dans plusieurs pièces.
Il serait intéressant de pouvoir choisir des pièces et indiquer dans quelle pièce charger les
Données.

Privacy Label is a Lie
The Privacy Label says “No Data Collected” but when the app launches, it makes network calls to Microsoft’s app center and other backends. No data collected should mean no data, period. No network calls, no data, nothing. It doesn’t matter what the purpose of it is. A network request has a lot of data (which complicit actors call “metadata” to make it sound less critical), which is then collected, stored, collated and fed back into the Microsoft and other advertising networks. If they’re willing to lie about the Privacy Label, they’re probably also reporting nonsense values from their sensors. Stay away from this app and company!

Just does the job, great app!
Such a well designed and succinct app. Just really easy to use and allows you to export your data. No predatory advertising, or paywalled functionality.
