Glitchy and a complete failure of an app
The first app ArboStar was better and less glitchy than the new ArboStar Plus. Both have great features but the technical support sucks. Turnaround time for actual help is awful. Everything is uninstall app and we will send to engineers to look at the issue. Had multiple reps over the few years and they are terrible about helping us. The list of issues is endless. Examples include but not limited to; job profiles not saving, whole leads on lead list not showing up, pictures always failing to stay uploaded, uploaded pictures with editing never hold edits with details on job scope, signatures disappear from contracts, I get logged out constantly, mobile app crashes and you have to uninstall and reinstall repeatedly (even on a new iPhone 17pro with latest update), multiple times I can’t even log into ArboStar to retrieve client information essentially shutting down my access to keep the company moving productively. The features are great on on paper they are great. In real life for a growing company this app will make you want to loose your mind. I’m a current user and am currently beyond unhappy app or service provided. I would not recommend this app to anyone.

Junk
This app is junk. Hardly ever works. Pictures don’t stay loaded so gotta take more pictures to load it’s a waste of money and more importantly time
Good start
Overall the app is decent but every week we have glitching, lagging, etc. Google calendar syncs for office but not crew which seem so simple not to have.
You have to manually log all items for book keeping..HUGE PTA, so we sync quickbooks.
The work orders aren’t able to be sent as a portal so crew has to review as pdf or sign in on arbostar. If you have no service is a big deal and causes a lot of headache.
The fact there’s not automation for invoicing is pretty 1990s and should be 100% part of how invoicing and such is integrated.

Low end company
ArboStar is great ascetically- but possibly the worst functioning app on the market. The only app in my 15+ years of using crm's that you have to clear the cache and I have to multiple times a day.

Lacking mobile features
The app is pretty good at a team leader level, but there are features missing that make mobile use a pain for some roles.
I'm a training coordinator at my company and visit multiple teams in the field in a day. There doesn't seem to be a way in the app for me to access all of my teams schedules.
Right now I have to use my phone as a hotspot to connect my computer in my truck and use the website to add myself to the next team I'm visiting. It just seems like such a round about solution to a seemingly simple feature.

Huge help for tree company
I am really loving this app so far . It’s easy to use for field work, straightforward . My guys are loving how easy we can go from estimate to work order . It has such an organized flow from lead to invoice. Love the mapping software. Thanks Arbostar for helping our business!
Game-Changer! Great software and app
Been using ArboStar for years — tried every system out there, but nothing comes close. These guys are actual arborists, they know exactly what we need in the field and in the office. Big kudos to the dev, support, and onboarding team — solid work!
Very glitchy and slow
The original app (ArboStar) was much more smooth and easier to use. Now that I have “upgraded” to the new app, it is slow, and glitchy. I am constantly having to re-enter information. I keep having to exit out of the app while in the middle of doing an estimate. The new camera function needs to be trashed. It won’t let you zoom in or out. If these things aren’t fixed I’ll have to look into using a new platform.
