Dext is an expense management app that digitizes receipts and invoices using AI-powered OCR. It extracts, itemizes, categorizes, and integrates this data with accounting software like QuickBooks and Xero, simplifying expense tracking and tax compliance for businesses.
The app boasts 99% accuracy in data extraction from receipts and invoices, powered by advanced Optical Character Recognition (OCR) combined with AI. It can even decode handwriting and digitize documents of any size or quantity.
The app offers a free tier with in-app purchases for advanced features and full functionality. Users can sign up for Dext through the app to access various expense management features and submission methods.
Dext seamlessly integrates with popular accounting software such as QuickBooks (QBO) and Xero directly from the app. For other software like Sage, expenses can still be connected via the cloud system on the web.
Dext is ideal for businesses to save time by automating expense tracking, simplify tax compliance (Making Tax Digital), gain insights into spending, and ensure accurate bookkeeping. It also helps in managing sales invoices and creating expense reports for reimbursements.
