Recommend staying here
Can only recommend based on week nights as a business client.
I’ve just had my 5th stay and have previously given a good review on Booking.com. Still love the very reasonably priced food and the cleanliness, and the staff are very welcoming!
The products in the room are good and a great hairdryer. Water bottles, tea and biscuits replenished each day. I like the breakfast and always plenty of choice of hot and continental. And the waitress is really lovely! Will be back again in a couple of weeks, so that must be a good recommendation!
My only issue is with their online booking.
If I add a ‘special request’ (ie room near the lift/stairs) when I book direct it’s never seen and not fulfilled. If I go through Booking.com, it is. I’d much rather book direct so this really needs to be rectified.
It would also be nice to be welcomed back as a customer if you’ve stayed before, again something the booking software should highlight.
